Auto One Glass & Accessories

Horrible service! Don’t use! This location replaced my windshield and caused damage to my car. They put on the wrong part but billed my insurance as an OEM part (but was an aftermarket), the molding at the top was not flush or fitted and rain came in, they cut the interior fabric on the roof, the window wipers were not replaced correctly and made a loud slapping sound and did not clear the rain and finally, they left grease all over the exterior of my car. please see photos of this «work». Mitch, one of the owners, was rude, condescending and told me the molding would «even out over time». I called my insurance company and I am going to the dealership to get this done and they are stopping payment to Auto One. This has been a headache and now I have to take another day off from work to fix their HORRIBLE «workmanship». Jennifer is very nice there, though.

I brought my truck in for a windshield replacement last month. They ordered the wrong parts twice, so I was without my truck for 3 days. Fine, these things happen sometimes. However, they broke the emergency brake cable moving the truck in and out so many times, and not only did they not tell me it broke, they tried to tell me there was nothing wrong with it (the handle pulled all the way out of the dash). After I convinced them it was not working, the tech looked under the truck and saw what was wrong. At first they said they would take care of it, and then said they wouldn’t fix it (after they got the estimate). This was yet another day without my truck. I finally fixed it myself (2 hours, plus $ 85) so I had a working parking brake. Two things to note in the aftermath– the first is that they never even apologized for what happened (which would have satisfied me more than enough) and the communication from two different surly women (the owner never bothered to call) was less than cordial. Second, the quality of the work is poor– there are large globs of sealant on the inside of the windshield and the exterior molding is poorly installed. I am very concerned about future leakage and subsequent rusting, but I will not be returning here and will gladly pay another shop to redo the work if need be.

My family has used auto one for years and I have recently started going to them as well. They have replaced my front windshield and repaired two chips. My most recent experience was awesome. I was driving to work, when I received another chip in my glass. I immediately called Auto One and they said I could bring it in during my lunch hour. My visit lasted 15 minutes tops, including the phone call to my insurance agency who paid for the repair. I even had enough time to run a few more errands during lunch. I will definitely use them in the future!
