Love LOVE love them! I have even flown in from FL when I moved there last year. She’s the best, but everyone seems good also!

I have thought long and hard about whether or not to post this review. Unfortunately the salon owner actually backed out on the full refund that she promised me, so I guess that makes the decision pretty easy and clearly demonstrates their lack of both ethics and customer service. The salon owner, Christina, was the one that was doing my hair(cut and color). The last two colors she has done for me I have noticed mismatched roots and oversaturated«muddy» dark ends. Because I really liked Christina and her location was convenient to my house, I decided to give her another shot. This time I went in with waist length hair and bravely asked for a short haircut. I took in several«inspiration» photos of Mandy Moore and showed them to Christina. I stated the caveat that if she didn’t think my face shape supported this cut or if she couldn’t do it, then we could pass on it. She was confident that it suited me and that she could deliver something I liked. I was also having gray roots touched up at the same time. Fast forward to color sitting on my hair for over 40 minutes and Christina 100% murdering my hair. She cut it at least 5″ too short to produce the style I requested. What that translates to is that I will now have to grow it out for well over a year just to get near what I asked her for to begin with. Most of my hair is now 2−3″ from my scalp, with the exception of a few pieces left long in the bangs that are 4″…think Shailene Woodley’s haircut from The Fault In Our Stars, only worse, only shorter. Let me reiterate that I went in with WAIST length brown hair and she completely destroyed it, both cut and color. I ended up with orange«hot roots» and the growth of my hair saturated to black because she left the color on too long. It is truly the most horrid and embarrassing haircut and color that I have ever had in my entire life. I am not going to spend a lot of time on this review, because frankly these idiots aren’t worth my time. My message is simple; if you want to pay outrageous prices for truly amateur work, go to A Nu Do. If you want to look like a cheetah, go to to A Nu Do. if you want to get told that your lack of styling ability is the reason for your horrible haircut(rather than their terrible technique), go to A Nu Do. If you want to pay professional prices and get a legitimate hairstyle and color, then for the love of god give your money to a real professional in Denver or Cherry Creek. Trust me, it’s just not worth the hassle these clowns will give you. It’s not hard to find bad reviews about A Nu Do, and trust me some of them are quite comical(check Yellow Pages, Google Reviews and Demand Force if you don’t believe me). Sadly I now know they are all true. Don’t make the same mistake I did. Some«best» salons in Denver: Matthew Morris, Clementine’s, Thompson & Co, Babooshka. *if you want to see my before and after photos, they are posted here on Unilocal

So, I have actually been going to Christina for years(like 6 years!), so I assume that’s long enough to leave a good review for her and know what I’m talking about! There is a reason I have been going to her for a long time – she knows what she’s doing, my hair always looks great after I leave(even though she knows I end up putting it in a clip 90% of the time!)! Her shop is always clean and the people are always friendly. Even if you have to wait(either for the stylist or while your hair is setting) they always offer you something to drink or a magazine. If you want fun place to tan, get your nails done, or get your hair done, this is a great place. They also do a Ladies Night, which is fun! They have other small companies selling clothes or purses or whatever, they always have good food, and I also see a lot of husbands there!
