I’ve only been here now for 4 days and it’s my 4th time to eat at this establishment. The bread is homemade and the soups are amazing. On certain days, they have pizza and pasta. I wasn’t as crazy about the pizza but it was good for the price. Fast but not far beyond the quality of fast food. You won’t regret stopping by.

I really try to seek out local coffee shops and restaurants whenever possible. So driving across Utah I saw this place next to the gas station where I was filling up and thought I would check it out. The teenage girls that were working there — none of the staff could have been even 17 — had no idea what kind of ingredients were in their soups. They didn’t know if they had anything other than milk as creamer for their coffee. They even had to go find someone else who knew how to make an Americano, even though it’s prominently listed on their menu. Very disappointing staff.

Bread: 4 stars Sandwich: 3 stars Broccoli cheese soup: 4 stars Raspberry Roll: 5 stars Overall I’d say 3.5 stars. It’s about the bakery here, sandwiches are a bit of an afterthought. Higher quality meats and a little more protein to bread ratio and this place kills it. I’d happily pay more for a sandwich that has this in mind. I’ll be back for a cup of that soup and a raspberry roll. That’s a 4.5 visit in the making.

Arrived in town after 8:30 pm and most of the restaurants were closed so we stopped here. So glad we did. Food was good, home cook and very reasonably priced. The aroma of fresh baked bread was mouthwatering.

Pretty good, and everything is fresh. They make the bread there, and possibly slaughter, process and cure the meats as well, perhaps even have a biological preserve to grow the veggies too? Also great value for everything you get either the cost etc…

Fresh bread. Incredible BLT. Better than road food for travelers… only 2 miles off the freeway. Fresh food is worth looking for.

I ordered a roast beef sandwich with cheddar on multigrain bread. It was terrific and reasonably priced. I ordered an iced vanilla latte on my way out and it was the worst iced coffee I’ve ever had! I expected more from a place that has«espresso» on the outside of the building. The person making my iced(no ice by the time I got it) coffee actually steamed the milk so it was clear that coffee isn’t their forte. I couldn’t taste vanilla or coffee in it as the only flavor was of watered down milk! Have a great sandwich here… but if you want good coffee, head to Buzzbru which is only a minute away!

The food was ok. Potato soup must have been made with skim milk. The sourdough bread slice was generous but was cut with a knife that had something else on it which transferred to the bread. Every table in the place was dirty. There were no dishes or trash on them but all needed to be wiped off. It was 6 in the evening and not very busy so no excuse to be so dirty. The floor also needed cleaning of debri. I won’t go there again and do not recommend it.

Just picked up some pastries but its a pretty cool place. Will plan to stop by again for a meal. Everything smelled and looked good. Raspberry roll(cinnamon roll with raspberry rather than cinnamon) was really good.

Nice surprise when I stopped here for a quick sandwich on my way from SLC to Idaho. For $ 5.25 I was able to get a roast beef sandwich, chips, a cookie and a drink! The bread was really delicious; made fresh on site. The staff was friendly.

Cute little place with friendly service. You walk in place your order at the counter and sit down. Service was fast, food was cheap and very good. We had the corn chowder and the BLT on sourdough. Bread was fresh and I would say the inside of the BLT was a bit small but good fresh ingredients. Nice place to pull off the highway for a bite to eat!

Don’t ever pass up the opportunity. Sometimes in life, everything aligns just perfectly for you to have an incredible moment and if you’re not on your«A» game and at your best, you will blow it. Such was the case the other day when I was going through Brigham City on my way to Logan. Out of the corner of my eye I thought I saw something about bread or a bakery. Immediately it called to me. I had to know more. I was obsessed. There was a U-turn in the direction I thought I had been heading, and I went to investigate. Now, sometimes this happens and you end up disappointed. But regardless of the outcome, you HAVE to seize it. In this case, I was not disappointed. Old Grist Mill is a larger-than-you’d-expect bakery with a little café inside. They’ve got soups and sandwiches, and a bakery case full of delightful indulgences. They also have a few breakfast items including croissant and bagel sandwiches with your basic breakfast eggs, and hams, and sausages, and the like. Now, this isn’t gourmet food. But the whole thing – the little store with locally-made goods, with all kinds of nut and grain and sweet and family loaves of bread, juices, and other items for sale… it was just perfect. I selected a croissant sandwich and a raspberry roll(think frosted cinnamon roll, but instead of cinnamon and sugar, it’s raspberry) and it was indeed a magical morning. When I left my house that morning, I wasn’t looking for a bakery. But life throws those things at you and you have to be paying attention. There are lots of things that get in the way – distractions that we put in our way that keep us from really feeling the importance of those moments – but these are moments that really define a life. What is life, if not a sequence of decisions about little things with which we fill our days? For example, those surprise bakeries on the road that pop up and can shape who we are. And don’t be afraid to change where you are going just because it’s not what you imagined when you get out of bed that morning. Don’t talk yourself out of that raspberry roll – you’ll regret it for the rest of your life.

I love stopping in at OGM! Love their sandwiches, you pick what you want on them. Lots of soup selections too! They have the best desserts! Also make sure you come in on Friday they have clam chowder!

The overall look was not a clean one. My husband ordered the marinara sandwich, which was enough for at least two people, super messy, and not that great. We had a German chocolate brownie which was just ok.

Drive one block further than the fast food places listed on the I-15 off ramp signs, turn left, and you will find a bakery serving build-your-own check list sandwiches, a plethora of baked sweets, plus a variety of take-home breads, jellies, jams and honey. Served by hard-working, friendly, knowledgeable young people nearly wholesome as the bread. My sandwich was a corned beef and Swiss. It was loaded with about ¼ of somebody’s county fair 4H project — lots of meat. Very filling. I ordered a cup of Americano expresso to caffeinate my delicious pumpkin square dessert. It was 100% American. A puny sealed-top plastic cup of coffee concentrate dumped into the top of a shiny rig posing as an expresso machine. The machine warmed a little jet of water that diluted the concentrate to sixteen ounces of luke warm instant coffee. Don’t waste your cash on that money-stealer o traveler. Get the Boyd’s out of the regular coffee machine by the soft drink dispenser.
