Yuki Hana Restaurant

The prices are fantastic, the place is BYOB, the food is AMAZING!!! We had the Yellowtail, Wasabi Shumai, Chicken Lo Mein, and 2 specialty Rolls, I was so impressed and will be going back regularly.

Recently moved to the island. After ordering horrible food from 2 establishments on the island, we decided to order some Chinese food from Yuki Hana. We were delighted to find out they deliver and thrilled that the food was delicious! Better than our old Chinese place back in DC! Finally, some amazing take out food on the island! Consider us regulars. Yuki Mondays in our household from this point forward. Can’t wait to try the sushi!

Yuki Hana is my go to for Chinese or Sushi on the island. I have yet to be disappointed by their food. I order the volcano roll pretty often, and it’s always fresh and delicious.

This place is going down hill. When I first moved here, this place was great. As the years went on, the quality of the food got worse. The only good thing anymore is the bubble teas.

The place looked sketchy, but the sushi was great. Perfectly priced, the food was fresh and service was great. 4 stars.

I ordered the borgota roll, the shrimp tempura roll and an eggroll. They were both decent but I’ve had better. I was a bit disappointed in the borgota roll especially because it’s pretty expensive. My ordered totaled 22.26. I didn’t include a tip because I picked up the order myself. Upon looking at my credit card statement they charged me an extra three dollars. So it looks like they got a tip anyway. Yes it’s only three dollars but I am appalled that a restaurant would take my money without permission. Poor management = poor review.

As a visiting young person who loves Asian food I have to say this place sucks. The service was terrible. The food was sub par. It was like I went to a crappy grocery store to get sushi. My boyfriends cooked shrimp dish was also overcooked. Would not suggest going here ever. The place was also disgustingly dirty. Terrible.

Tonight was a take in night and being new to the island, yuki Hana hit the spot! Portions are sized well for the money you’re spending.

Yuki Hana is one of those places that I lay awake at night thinking about their Borgata Roll. It’s absolutely delicious & a go to every time.

Got take out from here. Good place but not $ dollar sign like Unilocal says. Definitely a two dollar sign place. The food was fresh and the had a good selection. They also have Chinese but I didn’t try it.

Loved the food taste and presentation. Service was attentive. Easy but limited parking. They need to improve their bathroom state a little.
I would definitely come back if I am in the area.

Looking for great Chinese food? Well, look no further… this is the place in the Brig to get quality Chinese takeout. I can’t speak for the sushi but the basics like shrimp with lobster sauce, pork lo mein, beef w/​broccoli, etc were all so great… we ended up ordering twice during our week’s vacation (and yes we love Chinese food). Wouldn’t know it from the outside of the place… but take my word for it… it’s fab!

Some of the best and freshest sushi an sashimi that I have ever tried! They are a small, family-​owned restaurant with an extensive Chinese menu as well as Japanese and Thai offerings. Sean and Doris make excellent hosts, and this little BYOB can be as intimate or family-​style as you want it to be. Once I get over the bridge after a long week at work, it is a pleasure to be able to get this amazing food delivered fast to my door, or an easy night out! YOU GOT TO TRY THEIR TUNA MADNESS ROLL — it’s the BOMB!

The scallion pancakes are awesome. Thia, Japanese, Chinese food all in one spot.

Having moved back from Philadelphia a few years ago, I was pretty sad at the lack of sushi places on the island. Little did I know Yuki to the rescue!
The rolls are a little pricey but what sushi isn’t? Most of the rolls I’ve had I’ve loved. I have noticed a bit of variation in their spicy salmon skin roll, the first time I got it, it was GREAT, but this last time, it wasn’t the same at all, so there’s a little variation in some of the rolls but I guess that’s to be expected.
Their other Chinese meals are good, they aren’t amazing, kinda your typical «Americanized» Chinese but it does the trick! Overall I’m always happy when I order from Yuki!

Food here is awesome ! Always fresh. The borgata roll is my all time favorite sushi and is made perfect every time. I’ve had the beef negrini, amazing. The sweet and sour chicken, awesome, the gyoza wasn’t the best I’ve had but still wasn’t bad for being local. Over all it’s an amazing sushi place!

I love this place! It is my favorite Japanese restaurant in this area. I had miso soup, which was amazing! I had a rice handroll, and the rice and seaweed was good. I also had cucumber rolls, and the same. I also had a Spider Roll, and that was great too. Overall, great!

How ecstatic am I that there is sushi this fantastic so close to my condo?!
FRIGGIN’ THRILLED. My rating Yuki Hana at 5 stars may seem a little capricious, but… nah! They totally deserve it.
Mine and boyfriend’s first sit-​down dinner after relocating to Brigantine, I was probably a little more excited than he at the prospect of delighting in raw fish.
Yuki Hana’s interior is lovely without being stuffy or pretentious. We sat ourselves in a booth, but I’d love to sit at the sushi bar sometime. There was a back dining room that looked cozy and was more private. Boyfriend, of course, stuck to the Chinese menu. I ventured into the world of Japanese and did not look back.
He ordered hot and sour soup, sweet and sour chicken with pork fried rice, and an eggroll. I tried a Crystal Roll (spicy blue crab and avocado inside topped with spicy crunch tuna and spicy tobiko) and an order of salmon sashimi. We also ordered steamed dumplings as an appetizer.
Boyfriend’s hot and sour soup was the best we’ve tried. New Melaka’s in AC is a close second, but this soup just had so much unexpected flavor. The «hot» and «sour» were very present and both profiles were very identifiable. Even the mushrooms had an exquisite, meaty texture and flavor. the steamed dumplings were yummy and filling, maybe a little too filling as I left a decent amount of dough on the plate. Hot and delicious, nonetheless.
Our entrees arrive and are both beautifully presented. My sashimi, though averagely priced, was 3 thick slices of buttery, delicately flavored salmon. Most sushi joints provide two pieces per order, so this definitely tipped the scales in Yuki’s favor. The Crystal Roll was huge, delicious, and fresh. I have vacillated between whether or not I think it was a little too pricey at $ 12.95. But considering the size, the freshness, and the use of blue crab, I think that was a fair price. I would not hesitate to order it again next time, save for the fact that I’ll most likely be eager to try everything else on their menu.
I can’t speak to boyfriend’s sweet and sour chicken, though I’m sure you can all guess… he thought it was excellent. I will say that his fried rice looked moist and flavorful.
Yuki Hana is also the only place in South Jersey (I’ve seen) that offers Toro. Huge thumbs up.
So they’re BYOB, offer free delivery with a super-​low ($ 10) minimum, AND the food was spectacular? I will be here way more than is reasonably necessary.

Looking for something different on the island, we popped over to Yuki Hana for dinner last night. I was craving sushi… so we went Japanese and not Chinese. We ordered some vegetable tempura and a few simple rolls.
The tempura came out hot and fast, maybe too hot. I have had vegetable tempura at other places and found they had a good mix of veggies. Not so much here. We got eggplant, sweet potato, one piece of broccoli, and taro root. The taro root ended up tasting like paste, which as you can imagine, was not very good.
The rolls were ok, though they stayed with me through the night and I wasn’t loving that. The service was fast and good. While it isn’t the restaurant’s fault, there was a noisy family next to us which was distracting and annoying.
What did bother me the most was that there were fruit flies around our table. I know in a restaurant they are probably common, but they gross me out. Where there are fruit flies, there is rotting food. Yuck.

My friends & I have been here a few times & their dishes are pretty good. I really enjoy their spider rolls & the beef chow fun is yummy, albeit somewhat overly greasy.
They’re the only restaurant outside of Chinatown that I’ve been able to order beef chow fun from so that’s an up.
We order take out from here more than we eat in and they’re pretty timely with everything. I don’t recollect much in terms of service for when I’ve eaten in there but I don’t think I’ve ever had a bad experience with the wait staff.
