Torn between giving them 2 or 3 stars… so let’s say 2.5 for fairness. We enjoy their cheesesteaks & white pizza… always good & consistent. As for their dinners, not that good. We have eaten dinner here 5 times and the food is «just ok»…usually on the bland side and really nothing to talk about other than their dinner prices are high for the quality that they serve. With so many good Italian restaurants in AC we skip this place for dinners anymore & just order cheesesteaks or pizza from them. Revised to 1 star after they could not get a simple take-out order correct. We called to let them know about the mistake and they were not very nice. So sad to see a business like this in this great little town.

Service can be hit or miss but the food is always great! My favorite is the garden pizza.

My fiancé and I dined here 9⁄17 obviously it’s after labor day so we were able to get a table immediately which was nice. Sever came almost immediately to take our drink order and tell us the specials. For these two reasons I gave 2 stars. My fiancé ordered the margarita personal pizza and I ordered penne with vodka sauce. Her pizza came out with bagged mozzarella cheese, sliced tomatoes, and saturated in oil(so much that it left a puddle on the plate). Now for my penne vodka, that was more like penne with marinara sauce that had a hint of heavy cream… blah! The server who was nice did a fly by is everything ok and after that saw I was finished with more than half my pasta sitting there didn’t question it. Just not a good experience at all. I would assume everyone is just burnt out from summer. But that’s no excuse for poor execution!

This is one of the better restaurants on the island. The wait to dine in is horrendous, but take out is a breeze. Tons of Italian food to choose from including some favorites like the cheesesteak, chicken parm, mussels marinara, and baked ziti. Their pizza is pretty good but by no means close to a NY style pizza. Our favorite is the sausage and mushroom. Great location, friendly service and kid friendly. The outdoor seating is also a nice feature. Order or dine in early to avoid the craziness. This place get busy… and for good reason!

As a seasonal homeowner Andre’s was always our go to place for over many many years. Every weekend, we always took our company there. Recently we came in with 6 adults and 10 kids for dinner, weekday, not too busy. We get to ordering, 10 apps, 6 adult meals, 5 kids meals, drinks for all and two pizzas… Was told we couldn’t order pizzas at dinner while eating in…(as we have done countless times before) Was told we could get a small personal size but that was it. I asked for management, the man refused to come over vehemently shaking his head at her. So I went over to speak with him myself and he walked away and wouldn’t speak to me. We got up and left. Several employees there apologized profusely for his actions as we have been coming for over 15 years… You lost loyal customers.

I had a terrific dinner at Andre’s last week — extremely fresh and well prepared fish, with a tasty tomato and mozzarella salad. My spouse has the eggplant parm, which was just ok.(Italians are tough on restaurant Italian. The parm dish tasted like it was thawed from frozen; also not enough eggplant.) I ordered soup with my meal, and it was way too salty. Our waitress was appropriately apologetic and immediately brought me a salad, which was delicious and fresh. The wine was a generous pour. Andre is a Brig stand by: you can always get a decent meal here. I suggest asking the waiter what’s best and freshest on the menu: they really know the menu, and have never steered me wrong in many meals here. Definitely as good as most AC casino restaurants, for half the price.

Great food! It was my first time dining there and the service and food were awesome. The branzino was as fresh as it gets! Service was great too. I will definitely return next time I’m in brigantine.

We had a phenomenal dinner. Best calamari and bruschetta we’ve had in a long time. Salad, pasta, chicken parm and seafood special were all delicious! Plus, the service was very good and friendly. You won’t be disappointed.

Not really anything negative to say about Andres. Its a staple of Brigantine Beach and the service and food is always good. We arrived just before rush hour to ensure quick seating and minimal wait for our food. We have been coming here for years and never does it disappoint. We ordered Shrimp Scampi and spaghetti in garlic sauce. Very tasty. Also had a plate of Penne Vodka and although I have had better it was still good. A side order of Meatballs which we never go without. A plate of Chicken Francaise which is not on the menu BUT if the restaurant is not busy the Chef will whip it up for you. I must say the best dish on my table. It came with asparagus and potatoes in the same sauce… Toooo die for!!! If you are ever by Brigantine make sure to take some time and give this little GEM a try.

Second week in a row of dining here after a day on the beach. Food is fantastic and service is exceptional. Will be back probably next week.

When our party of five just arrived the hostess wanted to sit us right next to the one only other couple in the whole place. Please, I said«we’ll sit over here if you don’t mine. The place is not that big.» They do that so its easier on the waitress. Give me a break. We had pizza, wings and roasted artichokes. The artichokes were a mistake. Dry and tasteless. The pizza were tasty. The children loved the pizza. What child wouldn’t? The wings were wings. We got there right before rush hour or else we would still be standing outside waiting for a table. $$$. Everything was too expensive just because we were in Brigantine.

Food is very good. Service a bit slow. Main reason for lower rating are the prices: meals range from $ 16 to $ 28. Too high for a family on vacation. Needed someplace to eat, so we stayed. No website as well.

It was a so-so dinner the waitress didn’t tell us the specials and for the soup of the day we had to ask her and all there was is pea soup. Not that many options for a restaurant the menu even seemed limited, on top of that when we got our dinners my friend asked for a regular cheesesteak sandwich and there was pepperoni in it for some odd reason. As the for the dinner mine macotti seemed like spongey and chewy even would say bland. If your looking for a fine dining experience just go to Atlantic City to a casino, but if your looking for a quick bite and nothing to extravagant then this place is okay.

Had a fantastic dinner here last night. Extremely busy place but the food was great. Mussels marinara, fire grilled artichoke, except for the fact that a good amount of the mussels didnt open, and nothing was done to correct it, all was well. Veal chop was excellent and charred well outside and MedRare inside. Ladies had sausage(enough for 3 people) and broccoli rabe with shrimp. Amazing and nicely plated. Rock fish special, looked great and not shy on portion size. Very nice waitress, who was very engaging and fun. Great place, and definitely would come back over and over.

Definite authentic Italian place. I really enjoyed the pizza, and went again and had Chicken Parmesan which was definitely made on premise, not some frozen chicken patty. It came with Tomato soup which was outstanding. My wife had the split peas soup and she said it was great. She also had a veal dish that she really enjoyed. One thing which some may think is minor, but I loved was the bread. Italian bread as I remember it. Definitely worth a visit. It isn’t fancy, just good food at reasonable prices.

Tonight We had a great meal. We went for the specials. They were a little pricy but that didn’t bother me because it was so good. We had for appetizer the baked stuffed eggplant in tomato sauce. Excellent. Good sauce. And I know my sauce. Gravy is brown and I’m Italian. The sauce is very good. For out main courses I had the grilled ribeye and scallops which came with the most delicious robbe I ever had. I’d eat a dish of that tomorrow. Also came with potatoes in a garlic butter sauce. I loved it. My wife had the salmon /shrimp special. She loved it, we were too full for desert. I saw a few negative comments. We almost didn’t go there because of them. I am so happy I went. Our waiter was excellent.

Great service, good food. party of 10 kept out server hopping and she was always quick and with a smile. Crab soup was a little light on the crab but had a nice spice to it. All the dishes were cleaned, even though the portions were sizable. We’ll definately come back.

I was in Brigantine recently roaming around. It’s before the season and not everything is open. Frankly, I needed a restroom, but there were no open public ones. I decided it was lunch time. Perhaps some place I ate at would. This was close to where I was. I ordered a couple slices and a soda. The restroom was clean. I took the slices to go. I was impressed. This is what boardwalk pizza is supposed to taste like(even if this isn’t the boardwalk). Thin but firm crust. A slice should not sag; these did not. The next time I am in Brigantine I will welcome giving this place another go.
