Unorganized and unprofessional are the best ways to describe Rew Property Rentals Inc. I should have seen the red flags when the owner mailed me the rental agreement and had ME fill it out. Not to mention it was very generic and even had a couple of spelling errors. There was excessive communication between her and I to clarify what she wanted me to put on the rental contract. I also had to contact her to ask her when I should mail in the deposit and the remainder of the funds for the rental. The rental itself was really nice however it was after we left when the major problems began. I was told that our security deposit was not being returned because we were too loud and had too many cars (there were no car restrictions in the rental agreement and noise level is not grounds for keeping a security deposit). I spoke with the owner on the phone and she agreed to return my deposit… oh but wait… when I received the check she put a stop payment on it and then refused to answer her phone. She did contact me via email with a bunch of inapplicable excuses and kept «flip flopping» with her story and blaming the owners of the house then vanished. The Bridgton, Maine area is an absolutely beautiful vacation destination with quite a few nice restaurants and attractions in the area however I would highly recommend finding a better rental agent than we had to save you from some post vacation headaches.
