Uplifting Connections

Went to Uplifting Connections on New Year’s Eve! Had a wonderful experience talking with Lisa. She is very very helpful & knowledgeable! Knew exactly what I was looking for and helped me find it. Also got information on a series of classes I am going to participate in which is about Chakras! So excited to start this new journey! ! I am confident Lisa was put in my path for a reason. If you are searching. …make this one of your stops… you won’t be disappointed! The place has a positive, calm vibe. smells wonderful. There is lots to see & experience.

Got my first tarot deck here. Great atmosphere, wonderful people. I love seeing places like this so close to me — it’s great to see that I’m not the only one in the area who is into this sort of stuff. Love it!

Cute and unexpected. I frequently popped in between classes to grab tea. The gift shop is a bit pricey but there are some unique health and beauty accessories there that would make great gifts for women. I miss being so close.

This is a cool little new age type store with a smoothie bar. The smoothies are delicious and I stop in often for one. Lots of great gift options for the women in your life too.
I love having a store like this right around the corner from me, makes me feel like I am not totally unusual for this area. Thanks Uplifting Connections!

This place is great. And although it does seem like it is in an odd location, being right off the highway and sharing a building space with an auto repair shop and a self serve car wash, the ambiance and atmosphere inside is warm and welcoming. With a handful of tall tables and one rather comfy couch you can meet up with people while enjoying something from the little café. The café menu includes fresh smoothies (yum!), fair trade coffee and mixed pastries. Grilled cheese was also on the menu, hooray for comfort food.
In addition to the seating area and the café stuff, there is also a little shop (all in the same space) selling I guess you could say «uplifting» type items, stationary, jewelry, candles, kind of a mixed bag. They also offer massage treatments and reiki sessions but I have yet to have either there (and well my massage therapist at another place is just simply irreplaceable). That being said, one time I was there I overheard calls about making massage appointments, and day of didn’t seem to be a problem.
I have actually used this place for client meetings. And while some of the other reviewers have noted a woman centered vibe, I didn’t really feel that way. And my male clients didn’t seem uncomfortable, so take that for what it is worth. (I am a wedding photographer on the side BTW, incase you were wondering).
My only complaint is the location, I would be happier if it was in the center of town and I could walk to it. But I will admit I am weird like that.

A kid friendly, women-​oriented haven in a crazy world. I come in occasionally for a quick retreat and immerse myself in the serene music while my young ones read from the kids’ area and have a small snack. I love this place :)

This is a women-​focused book store, day spa, and juice bar that sells excellent fruit smoothies and fair-​trade coffee. I love to take my daughter there. It is the only place in the area that sells Brazilian acai juice! (See
