I had been thinking about coming for a long time, they are only open on weekends, and while its close to my work, its 30 min from home. However, it was worth the trip. I bought several rib eye steaks. They were amazing! The stand is not big, but the farmer’s mother was running the stand, and she was an absolute pleasure, very interesting to talk to, and took the time to pick out steaks for me when I called ahead. They carry most of the steaks that youd be looking for.(also pasture raised chickens, eggs, and if you get in early enough, there will be some pork). Its all very well thought and planned for a humane animal experience, local, organic, grass fed. It is a winner if this is what you are looking for. The area is a beautiful place to drive to as well. Should definitely give it a try.

This organic farm is located in a beautiful part of Connecticut. The animals are all out in the fields for you to see and are probably living better than most people. It’s a very upscale«farm». The retail store is only open on Saturday and Sunday, but it’s well worth the wait. The chicken is unlike anything that I’ve ever tasted before. And the beef… so tasty. They also sell fresh honey for $ 8.25 and eggs. You can view their prices online. It’s expensive, but well worth it. Their products are entirely organic and local which is what I like.
