I attended a wedding this weekend catered by these guys. This was the worst good I have ever had in my life! Appetizers were greasy and cold. They had vegetables sliced in a shot cup with ranch dressing. Vegetables were wilted and dressing was watery. Pigs in a blanket were cold and hard. For dinner there was chicken that was tasteless and not fully cooked. Pot roast that you couldn’t cut with a knife. Vegetables that were a week old. Potatoes that were almost done. Even the bread was worse than cafeteria food. Not one eatable item! Very disappointed.

We used Scrumptious Suppers as our caterer for our wedding in Staunton, Virginia on May 31st at the American Hotel Banquet Room. In the beginning they were easier to work with than the caterer on site at the venue, which is why we went with them. We did the tasting, signed on early and then there was a lot of time with minimal contact between then and our wedding. When the wedding date was getting near we found out that the coordinator we had been working with left the company and we were then working directly with the owner. It made me nervous in the beginning, but Shelley was very forthcoming about a slower response time, but never kept my questions waiting too long. The day of went off without a hitch and that was very much thanks to the staff at the event. The bar tenders were great and as far as I know everyone got their food in good time(no one complained, at least!). The staff even handled one of our overly drunk guests who helped himself to coffee in the service area very well. We would definitely recommend using Scrumptious Suppers to cater your next event!

I finally got to stop in today to see the new restaurant. It is small and quaint with some real nice antiques and beautifully framed memorabilia hanging. I love the chalk board painted tables… how fun for kids. Shelley is such a pleasure to chat with, although, customers kept coming in so she was pretty busy. I purchased a Mediteranian Quinua Salad to take home for dinner. I am enjoying it now and it is so DElicious and fresh. The hummus is very good too and the pita chips are so fresh. I wish you and Vic much success and happiness. I will be back.

Unusual flavor combinations are the cornerstone of this lunch stop. Titillating for the imagination for all you foodies, I got a mixed green salad with a maple-soy dressing. Tables have chalkboard tops perfect to keep kids entertained while you eat if they’re fussy eaters. PROS: quality bread, innovative menu, healthy choice, supporting small business CONS: pricey, isolated(boring to eat-in), dining-in uses disposable containers — wasteful :(

We really enjoyed our lunch – best quinoa salad I have had. Meats all good quality and well prepared. Fresh bread and housemade fresh chips. Try the potato cheese soup – excellent! Great find.

Very good sandwiches and kid friendly. Excited to have a place like this in Bridgewater. The Cuban sandwich in not authentic but it is huge and it is awesome.
