This ice cream is amazing. It also doesn’t hurt that Harvey is awesome and a really nice guy. He makes unique and delicious flavors, as well as the traditional ones. My husband and I don’t live in the area but we drive through frequently to get to West Virginia. We make sure to stop at Harvey’s every time!

I just moved to Harrisonburg, and I have been looking for a good ice cream place around here.
I have been to two famous ice cream places — not great, and I finally found this place!
The owner makes ice cream, and he is very creative.
Once I saw jalapeño chocolate ice cream. I thought it was a strange idea, but he offered me to taste it. OH MY GOD — it was good!
This is the real home made ice cream folks. You have to go to Harvey’s and taste his ice cream. Please do yourself a favor and try.

The best ice-​cream I’ve ever tasted, hands down. Harvey personally makes his own ice cream, often using fruits and vegetables that are locally grown. Have a couple of minutes? He will tell you all about it! Stop I’m for the best ice cream at a great price.
