Drinks aren’t bad but the food leaves much to be desired. Ordered 3 different«tapas» plates with my husband… Didn’t care for any of them. The fish nachos consisted of a handful of tortilla chips doused in a watery bland cheese sauce with 4 or 5 whole shrimp and lettuce on top with guacamole that was so smooth and flavorless I find it heard to believe it is «house made». We were bummed since we’ve eaten here before for dinner/special occasions and the food was always on point… Needless to say, we would return for drinks and entertainment(their outdoor patio is great) when they have bands playing.

This is an update to a review from 2014. New management. Much improved in many ways. Bar is small but homey and friendly. Staff very helpful and attentive. This is a great place visually. In winter sit way away from the front door. In summer, the outside venue is fun. They are booking lots of bands now that play both inside and outside. I expect that over time there will be some improvements in the«staging» of the groups(lighting), and perhaps additional frequency. This is a nice historical gem in Beaver county. The street is becoming much more active than in the past(art, pizza, boating near the bridge). Very easy to get to actually but look at a map first since there is a sharp right turn that will come upon you –fast– in you are not expecting it. And they do painting — sip and paint events, and trivia nights.

We chose 1810 Tavern for our 20th anniversary dinner tonight because they have outdoor seating, a full bar, and a cool menu. The only real problem was our server. She was friendly enough, but sort of absent. She didn’t tell us the soup, flatbread, or hummus of the day. She gave us only a beer list with our menu, and seemed unable to recommend a cocktail, despite several questions. This was particularly confusing, given that when we moved inside(too buggy on the patio), we found a bound cocktail menu on our table, several pages long, listing whole categories of specialty cocktails. Dinner(lobster mac ‘n cheese, shrimp nachos and pork chops) was good. But then … once our plates were cleared and we were just discussing whether to order dessert or another drink … our waitress brought our check and told us to have a nice night. So odd. We were one of two tables in the restaurant. The bartender/manager(?) was friendly and helpful. We left and went to another restaurant for dessert.

Stopped in there a few days ago for the first time and was disappointed. The server lacked any personality and the food just wasn’t that spectacular. My medium burger was well done, and the others thought there food was«ok». For the prices they charge we were looking for more.

Excellent find! Great menu with variety but not too much. Service was attentive, friendly and helpful. I knew we were in for a good meal when the house salad came out and was so attractive and well put together. My partner had lobster mac and cheese. It had a nice crust with a wonderful sauce and lots of lobster. In fact at one point she discovered a whole lobster tail in the middle. It was to die for! I had a chicken caprese pannini that was delicious and nicely prepared. We shared a nice crème brûlée with several dessert offerings. This is now one of our«go-to» places. We can’t wait to try more items from the menu. By the way, the tavern had a ton of appeal and the beer, wine and cocktail lists were very good. Great place for a quiet dinner or with a group!

Great food and drink selections. Love the atmosphere, but the crowd generally tends to be of the age 50+

First time here, but I’ll definitely be coming back. Had the chicken and waffles, which was very flavorful. The(avocado) hummus was also very tasty, although a bit pricey for how small it was. Service was also very attentive.

I have been here a dozen times or more, they have good entertainment on week-ends, small bar area, nice outdoor patio. I have had good dinners and have had a few that were sent back, due to undercooked or cold. I understand they were going through change of owners/management. Beer & wine selections are good, bartenders are very pleasant and knowledgeable of new brews on tap and will let u sample before ordering. Rustic laid back, comfortable to meet with friends and casual entertainment.

Great drinks but very below average food. We ate dinner there a few months ago and didn’t like our food at all. We will always come back for drinks but never again for food.

The food here is consistently excellent, and tonight was no exception. I hsd the chicken and taters this evening. It was very good. Not overly creative, but the mango slaw was a twist, it was not outstanding. The chicken was fried, but not greasy or overly breaded, It had a good flavor and texture. Good, but not the very best I have ever had. My spouse had the creole shrimp. She found it good, not overly spicy. We have had creole shrimp in New Orleans. This was not to that standard, but good. The overall experience was very good. Our server was good, pleasant. We eat here frequently, and find the servers to be very knowledgeable, and a better than average wine selection. the list has changed. not as great as usual. We very much enjoy 1810, and enjoyed this evebing as well. we will be back for certain.

My husband and I went to dinner here last Saturday. Amazing service, and the live music was fantastic! I recommend reservations for the patio on nice summer nights, it got full back there.

Full disclosure my boyfriend is a musician who has been playing here for the past month or so and I’m not just a fan because of that. This place is terrific and cool. I haven’t even been here when the back patio is open yet and I can’t wait for that! The bar is warm and comfortable with a huge wooden bar and high top tables. The food is excellent — duck wings with mango sauce is my current favorite. The servers are friendly and efficient so you never have an empty glass. I highly recommend!

Food was absolutely delicious. We had the Gouda cheese burger and fillet surf & turf. The meat was cooked to perfection according to our liking. Pleasant atmosphere with good music playing on the jukebox. Outside patio as well. Very friendly waiter.

Unless they actually put lobster in the«lobster» mac n cheese I won’t be back. Its over priced and dark in there. The serving sizes were small.

Ambiance — Clean, rustic-homey, with a bar section and stage featuring performers all the time.(I was surprised to hear music on a Tuesday evening!) Service — Very accommodating when I had to put the orders on hold while I addressed some medical issues. Seriously, that was nice of them. Food — Excellent, especially for the area. I had a steak and it was absolutely delicious. The menu options are far and above the generic sandwiches and chicken tenders everyone else whips out. I was so pleased to find this on my business trip. Will definitely stop in again if I’m in the area!

I agree that SOMETHINGHASCHANGED here. …a few weeks ago had dinner here and the food was very good. So I planned on bringing our out of state friends here for dinner. I received a call from 1810 forty minutes before our scheduled 7pm reservation. Asking if I would like to cancel as they were all of their specials AND entres for the evening. It was too late to call our friends so we met them there. We learned they were also out of bread. We asked if we could have a burger and was told that is only served on the lunch menu. We opted to have a drink… and…of course, they«just happen to be out of Beefeaters» also. What an unbelievable, embarrassing situation!

I had the privilege of joining my girlfriends for a night out at the 1810 Tavern. When we arrived, I asked the bartender about the availability of a table, and he rushed to clear it, even though I was the only one there from my party at the time. I perused the draft selection, which I was pleased to find diverse and tasteful. I decided to go with wine, knowing I was in for a longer evening. The bartender asked if I wanted a glass or bottle, and when I said bottle(which I would later share — friends loved it), he went to get a more special selection. The appetizers were eclectic and very well-made. We enjoyed the ahi tataki, scallops, and potato mix. All amazing. Dinner was a foodie’s dream-savored the mahi, while others had large portioned salads. I like the idea of more of these establishments moving into Beaver County. Keep ‘em coming!

Very interesting spot in Bridgewater. My boyfriend gets so mad when I say that! But I don’t know any other way to describe my meal here. My meal was interesting. BJ has a coworker friend who had dined here and he highly recommended 1810 Tavern. We came in on a week day night. The dining room was only half full. The interior is very rustic, I like that. We were greeted right away by our handsome server. Service was really great here. BJ was happy with the beer choices, he got a Southern Tier Warlock. For his entrée, he got the Cherrywood Smoked Pork Tenderloin. It was served with pineapple brie fondu, funnel cake straws and spaghetti squash risotto. The pork was perfectly cooked. The funnel cake straws was more like a roll, plus he got asparagus. Interesting. I tried the risotto, but tasted no squash. He was very happy with his meal. I ordered the filet & mushroom salad. The menu description was: tender filet and wild mushrooms atop artisan lettuce, smoke blue cheese dressing & sweet potato nest. This is where more interesting comes in. My salad was served in a plastic box. There were no mushrooms in my salad. The artisan lettuce was two hearts of romaine. I love romaine. It’s one of my favorites. The sweet potato nest was 3 or 4 sweet potato fries. There were beets in my salad. I love beets. I wasn’t expecting beets. For dessert, we wanted to share something small. Somehow, we ended up with a pistachio cake and a piece of sugar free chocolate cake. Both desserts was very good. All in all, an interesting meal. I don’t think interesting is a bad thing.
