Weekends Only Furniture & Mattress

I felt like I stepped into a different era when I came here to look for some new living room furniture. There was lots and lots and lots of product. Product on top of product, but mostly things I think were in style 20 years ago. Maybe when you combine my picky taste with John’s picky taste there just aren’t a lot of items we can compromise on or maybe this time at WO everything really was ugly. Plus we got followed around by the sales associate so much so that when we were ready to leave we planned an escape route so we could get away without being hounded again. For now I will stick with my tried and true couch until I get up enough energy for another Saturday of sales folks with ninja skills and outdated furniture.

If you want to find inexpensive furniture than this is the place for you. The quality of said furniture varies on shipment. They do back their items with quality agreements and a solid return policy. The selection varies too depending on the shipment. A mattress and boxspring has been recently purchased and the crew in the back helped me to load in the back of the minivan. The salesperson was nice and the other staff didn’t circle around us like sharks smelling out fresh meat. Though I was sporting some new fragrance from Guess… I digress.
The place is definitly no-​frills and you get what you see. I think they purchase «need to go items» from other stores and sell them under one roof at WOFO. So, if you are looking to get an extra chair, couch, or TV stand, then this is the place to go.
Finally, the showroom, well, you should experience at least once. The showroom is a large canvas sprinkled with lovely bright colors like fuscia, salmon, neons, faux-​wood, and more brown variances that will make Aunt Tilda’s 1960s rec-​room look updated and fresh. Bring the martini’s! It’s so awesomely bad, hence the third star.

My wife and I have gone to this store many times and it seems that in the last few years that they are actually improving on selection and quality.
We purchased a mattress, kitchen table and some other furniture here before and have had no issues with the service or products.
I am wary of the no returns policy but if you know that up front and make sure you get exactly what you want then you shouldn’t have a problem.
I definitely like this place but sometimes you truly do get what you paid for.

I was not impressed with this store. When we decided we needed to replace our recliner we went to this store to see what they had available. I was disappointed with the color selections that they had. Some were BRIGHT obnoxious colors and too many leather selections. Almost every recliner they offered was «BIG MAN» size. The salesperson we had was very personable and friendly. She never pressured us or tried to show us things we did not want. We did however find one that we could make work with our other furniture. We were told they had several in the «back». It was after we made our selection that we were told their computers were down and they could not make a sale, BUT the computers should be up in an hour and she would call us when we could come back to pick it up.
We finally got a call the next day telling us the computers were up and we could come up and pay for our recliner and take it with us. When we got there the salesperson preceded to tell us the only recliner they had was the one on the showroom floor. We did not want that one because it was missing one of the leg covers and looked like it had been worn in one spot. She offered to sell it to us for a discount but it looked more used than new. Thus we wasted two days with this place.
To me this place is a waste of time. The only thing we found was most of the items in the showroom were what you see is what you get. The prices were not that reduced unless it had been sitting there for a long time and so obnoxius that it probably would not sell unless they gave it away.

This place is like going to a consignment or resale store… never know what will be in there, how much it will cost, and how long it may be there. Some of the stuff in there looks like ‘where the hell did they get this monstrosity from???” and other times you may get this TAH DAH moment and find just what you want at just the right price.
If you have to return something its on you! It is buy it and you haul it mostly. They will deliver though. They do carry a lot of known brands (for example, a lamp I bought at the Ashley store was in there today. I was a bit pissed thinking I may have paid more for it. Oh well!) as well as brands from Planet Huh? It is a big cavernous store with as many things as possible shoved together. Makes for some difficulty if you want to try say for example — a recliner.
And if you even think you may want more than one of something, you better get it that day or within a week because once it’s gone, it’s gone!
