I do like that they have birthday parties. staff was good no problems there but the bathroom doors had no looks, toilet looked like it hadn’t been clean due to ring around it, floor chipped up a lot in bathroom, Also there is a bench that you sit on that is split which easily could pinch or even cut a child. Food was good. Just in need of repairs over all.

It’s a roller skating rink. My initial feeling is eh. But I’ll tell you, the owners of this place really do cater to their customers. Skating lessons, birthday parties, events, they do whatever. My son likes handing out fliers. They are so indulgent with him. We have attended and held several events here over the last several years. The food is okay, nothing great. The rest of the skating experience is pretty good.

K… well, I think this is one of those times when I need to set up a frame of reference before I can properly review a place. Cumberland County is extremely economically depressed. The implications of that are numerous. One consideration is that clientele in a lot of places around here can be dodgey, so the management’s handling of undesirables counts for a lot in my reviews. When I first heard about Skate 2000, I was hesitent to check it out because of it’s location. Bridgeton is a town notorious for a few bad apples seriously spoiling the bunch. So I was surprised when we were invited to a birthday party at Skate 2000 and not only had a good time, but were spared any confrontations with unsavory characters. We were impressed by the lack of «the element» that we were confident enough to schedule our own birthday celebration there. Skate 2000’s prices are OUTRAGEOUSLYLOW. I honestly don’t know how they stay in business. Birthday parties include skate rental, skate time, party room, pizza, drinks and a small gift for each child for about 5 bucks a kid. You just can’t beat that. I almost passed out when they quoted the price to me. All I had to do was ante up for a tip and a few supplementary snacks(no outside food, except bday cake are permitted.) Skate 2000 also has skate classes and other special events, also ridiculously cheap. My only real qualm with Skate 2000 is when I requested the king of all skate songs, «Superfreak» the DJ had no idea what I was talking about. I mentioned a couple other classic skate songs and the DJ looked at me like I had three heads. Double Dutch Bus? Funky Town? Jam On It? Ring My Bell? Freak Out? Rapper’s Delight? More blank stares… damn! Minus half a star for hiring a DJ who does not possess the requisite knowledge of classic disco and funk skating songs. All in all a decent place.
