Nothing special. Food was just ok, service was ok. Had high hopes for the chocolate pudding, but it didn’t have that rich chocolate taste.

I love the food here… especially their soups! The Roasted Red Pepper soup is to die for… My wife and I love going here. Anne runs a great restaurant.

My husband and I dined here on our 2nd wedding anniversary last week. It was as special as it could be. Upon being seated, my husband realized he left his reading glasses in our car. The owner, who seated us, overheard and brought him a selection of different strength readers from which to choose so he could read the menu. That should give you an indication of the top notch service you will receive at this establishment. Everything that evening was pitch-perfect. We started with an appetizer of Crab Brulee which was served with toasted baguettes and was delicious. They have an extensive wine list, and I selected a glass of Coastal Vines White Zinfandel. Our entrees were served at the perfect temperature and all courses were timed properly. I chose the Coquilles St. Jacques Provencale, while my husband had the Swordfish special. All meals are served with fresh French bread, butter and olive tapenade which is a treat unto itself! They have a website where you may see what they offer on their menu and their wine list. Their prices are a tad more than your average run of the mill chain restaurant, but what you get in return is well worth it. If you find yourself in the Bridgeport area, do yourself a favor and give this little country French restaurant a try. It will not disappoint!
