We went to P Millo & Sons to design our kitchen cabinets. We started there in October with John when we asked him if he wanted the job. He said yes. Then the week before Thanksgiving, he told us that our kitchen was hiss priority. He did not mention any requirement for a retainer in order to do the job. The 2nd week in December he told us that our kitchen was your priority. He did not mention any requirement for a retainer in order to do the job. The 15th of January he told us that he’d have final drawings done and a quote for us by the 19th of January. He did not mention any requirement for a retainer in order to do the job. The 11th of February I went to his office and explained(very calmly) how frustrated I was with this project. He not only apologized, but agreed that we had been extremely patient with him, and then he told us that he would email us the prints by the 12th and have the price for me by the 16th. He did not mention any requirement for a retainer in order to do the job. He neither emailed prints, nor had a quote for us. On the 21st of February I explained to him that I was considering going elsewhere but that I had invested months into the project with him and would prefer not to have to do that. On the 23rd he said that he hoped to get to it that week and that he had put other customers who had given him retainers in front of us. Again, he did not mention any requirement for a retainer. Frustrated, I then sent listed for him exactly these details, and told him that as a rational person, I didn’t have much faith in him doing it that week. I further and told him I’d come to his office to set up an appointment for later in the week(I’ll admit by this time my frustration got the better of me and i was no longer concerned about being very polite about it). When I arrived at the office, he came out and told me to leave. Yelled at me to leave, actually. He told me that he’d sent me an email that our business was through. There is no need to embellish any details as this is a true account of my experience with P. Millo & Sons.

Five stars for me with pricing. This is a hidden gem no one knows about. They have been in Bridgeport forever. You might be a little scared driving here but the prices you will find are worth it. I’ve bought so much from them from kitchens to moldings to doors to floors to bead board — you name it. This is my kind of store for these kinds of products. I do not like the fancy showrooms where you know you are paying thru the roof.
