My boyfriend and I come here every Sunday and sit at our favorite waitress’s table, Lisa! She’s the friendliest, knows our order by heart, makes our chocolate milk on point, and always checks in to make sure we’re good. We get two eggs over easy, home fries, bacon, and a large chocolate milk and we have NEVER been disappointed — the morning cook is the best!

Fix you description. Your Unilocal says you deliver up to 5:30 am, no restrictions. I call for a delivery an hour before closing at the hospital a few blocks away, I get told no Do what you say, say what yo mean. Updated your description and be more specific. Would it really have hurt to send an order a few blocks over when your still open? I would have paid any minimum. You stink.

Clean restaurant, generous(huge) portions, friendly service. Usually we order takeout on occasional busy workday. I’m happy to say that recently, Frankie’s started serving better veggies(i.e., freshly steamed vs mushy and overcooked). We are fans of the roast turkey and meatloaf dinners. I love the French onion soup and the mac-n-cheese. Frankie’s is just a few blocks from Bridgeport Hospital and definitely the place to go if you are visiting or watching over loved ones in the hospital! Prices are reasonable.

Customer service is quite terrible. Food is very overpriced but I have to say the food is good.

Driving through CT, we looked up diners and came across Frankie’s. Upon entering around 10pm, we were told that one whole side of the restaurant was closed. However, the side that was open was filled with loud, drunk people. We asked twice if we could please sit on the other side where it was quiet and they refused, oddly choosing to let business walk right out the door. We were stunned… and still hungry. It also seemed dirty so Im actually glad they let us leave! So, now I am writing this review from the beautiful, clean, quiet Andros Diner, which I highly recommend, right down the road in Fairfield. Well done, Frankie’s.

I had eggs toast home fries and a pancake. All were good. Typical diner fare for breakfast. Not in the best neighborhood but it’s ok during the day. The waitress, older lady, blondish hair was the sweetest! I give her 5 stars. I’ve eaten in a lot of nice restaurants and this lady was the nicest most attentive waitress I’ve ever had! I hope Frankie’s treats here good.

I called to place an order here a few months back for a burger and a steak and was told, «we don’t take orders over the phone for steak» uhhh, what? I replied that I was on a time restraint and couldn’t wait for it to be cooked once I got there. I even offered to pay for it over the phone in case that was the issue. Same robotic response, «we don’t take orders for steak over the phone» You also don’t have a customer anymore, click!

No exaggeration, some of the worst food I have ever had. Ordered a simple burger and fries. The bun was burnt and ripped, the meat was tasteless and the fries were soggy. Horrible, never again.

No stars Came here again to give it another chance . The food sucks. I asked why the steak had no flavor, response was«we dont season our steak here» so she blame me for being pregnant.. uhmm im 9 months pregnant and had steak this whole time … I return the food, was happy to pay for our drinks and my boyfriends food, untill the waitress and the manager where trying to fight me on how they dont return food and I was pregnant so it wasent there fault… talk about gehtto, en educated people. In that case I didnt pay for anything and left. WELLNEVERGOBACKTHEREAGAIN

Nothing like finding a good old fashioned diner to fill your belly. After a family gathering a bunch of us decided to hit a diner for dinner. We pulled into Frankie’s as it was open while the other diner close by was closed for the holiday. Glad we did because we had a terrific meal here. The place itself has that warm cozy old diner look to it. Probably needs to be updated but that is part of the charm with these diners that dot the NY/CT/NJ landscape. Service was very friendly and attentive. Huge diner menu full of choices. Tasty hot coffee. Huge portions at such a cheap price! Most everything on the menu seems to be under $ 10. Even the daily specials that included soup or salad was under ten bucks. It was cold out last night and was snowing a bit. Perfect weather for some Hungarian Beef Goulash and Beef Barley Soup special. The soup was good, and the hearty portion of goulash they give you here is off the scale. Half our group ened up doggie bagging it. Not me! I wolfed that plate down — pronto. Delish! Had a food baby in my belly. Then went into a total food coma on the train back home to NYC. They even have a coffee loyalty card here, and are open 24⁄7. Also, the bread they placed on the table in the baskets were like soft warm fluffy pieces of crack that resembled mini hot dog rolls! I ate a basket by myself!

Stopped for breakfast on our way to New Hampshire. Some of the best home fries and corned beef hash I’ve ever had!

Another great diner that Bridgeport has to offer. Service that makes you feel like a regular costumer, even though I walked in for the first time. I did not had pastrami for a while and went for the sandwich… Great choice!

Frankie’s was pretty good. I’m really looking for a 5-star place. It’s always good to know the 24 hour places in the area.

I grew up going to Frankies Diner with my family & have lived in Las Vegas for the past 17 years… but my 1st stop when I get back to Bridgeport is Frankies Diner!!! The food is great & I especially recommend their breakfast potatoes… they are out of this world!!! Just the right amount of onions & done to perfection every time. You won’t be disappointed!!!

Love me some Frankie’s! This is as good as the east coast diner scene gets. When I moved to Arizona in 2004, this was one of the places I greatly missed. Arizona just doesn’t do diners.(Actually, I recall Tucson having one, that me and my husband tried once, and ended up with a hamburger that tasted like fish — ugh!) So now that I’m back on the east coast, I’m thrilled to have a place like Frankie’s in my life again. Yum!

Frankies is a great diner. The service is excellent. The food is hot. They have slovak night every couple of months and make all that special food. Their cheesecake is home made. I have had so many great dishes here. There are way too many to write here. They are open 24⁄7. Ck it out.
