I have to say, you and your business are absolutely horrible neighbors. Your building is located right in front of a quiet, dead end, water front street which you either have no regard for or you just flat out don’t care. We had a nice large area of trees that were homes to many birds, which you and your «green» company chose to tear not one but every last tree down. You did not replace these trees or homes to birds with more trees, instead you filled the area with dirt (now disgusting mud) where you and your workers stand at 6:30 in the morning shouting, screaming, and letting kids run wild waking everyone up on weekends and weekdays and disturbing our once quiet neighborhood. You have blocked off the first half of the street with garbage cans and red caution tape for weeks taking away spots for the many driveway-​less drivers on our street causing us to have to park on Fairfield Avenue far away from our homes. Last Friday you used a leaf blower for hours from 7pm up until 12 IN THE MORNING showing once again you have no respect or concern for your close surrounding neighbors who are trying to live a peaceful quiet life. I can let you know that I am not alone. The entire street is fed up with your loud, careless, non «green» ways. We are sincerely hoping that this review makes a difference before we have to go to the town of bridgeport to report your endless consistent noise ordinance violations.

I can assure you that the neighbors on the road behind you have not given positive reviews to you cutting down trees blocking off our road for weeks and the noise violations up until 12 AM. Instead of coming into the store We would all appreciate less noise, more planting and less tree killing as well cleaning up your mess on the street giving us our parking back and our once quiet community back
Please, You can at least clean up the back of your building where ladders are thrown. we don’t have much of a yard and my dogs play on those rocks and the ladders thrown there are hazardous to all of the animals living in the house.

The Center for Green Building is a priceless resource to the state of CT. Gabriel and Erin are two of the nicest people in the world and they are experts on responsible and green building and every product they provide in their store. As a holistic health counselor, as well as a green interior designer, I am so grateful for this store. I have created the most gorgeous spaces with the materials they have to offer from Eco Timber flooring, to Safecoat paint and finishes, to Paperstone countertops. I have included pictures of rooms like a kitchen that I designed using many beautiful materials from the store. In a time when prices are high for materials that are poorly made abroad, it is refreshing to find companies that make the highest quality materials, in safe and sustainable ways. Designing green is more than a fad, it’s about doing the job right the first time and with materials that last… like it was once done:)
