I’ve come back for the baby back ribs on Tuesday or Thursday night. I ask for them spicy hot and they are soooo good. This is definitely a local place. They have live music at night. The service is a hit and miss but the food makes you come back. This is definitely a popular spot for the local people. It gets packed. I will go back for more when I visit.

Monday night have the ribs with grilled shrimp. There is a medium sauce and hot sauce. Waitress said that the hot sauce was not that hot. That’s about relative because it was pretty hot. Delicious the baby back ribs are the best. I didn’t see any bikers but this is also winter in Pennsylvania. Workers looks great. The baked beans are very good

I was here a few times before and didn’t review. I come here for the food, NOT the service. The establishment is lacking in its service. Their food is always great though! Very delicious for a dive bar.

Just moved to KoP and went hunting for some BBQ and stumbled upon this place. It reminds me of Idaho, the bar atmosphere was the kind I was used to in Idaho. I will be back for more!

Good food .The Friday night we were there the music was too loud. The hot bbq sauce is great. Overall a fun dive bar with good ribs and fun people watching.

I’m still on a rib binge and I stopped by the Bridgeport Rib House to get my groove on. I didn’t read any Unilocal reviews and I wanted to experience the B.R.H. unencumbered. B.R.H. is a small neighborhood spot with a dining area, a bar and a few TV’s to catch the game on. The atmosphere is nice with a little redneck-ish thrown in. Here’s why I gave them only 2 stars… the ribs… they were as tuff as shoe leather with no sauce to speak of. I cannot believe this is what they produce on a regular basis. Pork ribs are supposed to be tender and smoked, not tuff and dry. I felt like an animal try to rip the meat off the bone. The side orders were nothing special either. Not good, not good at all.

What reviewer would drop their rating from five stars to one? It must be unheard of in the annals of Unilocal.I wouldn’t be doing it if it wasn’t deserved. After years of offering a very good hot sauce, you now have two choices: mild honey or hot honey. What if customers don’t like honey on their ribs? I guess they’re SOL. If I wanted honey on my ribs I’d buy some garbage sauce off the shelf at Giant. I loved this place but they’ve lost my business.

We had the biggest juiciest ribs ever tonight! I had baby back and my hubby got spare ribs. We will be back. We are from a BBQ saturated state, N.C., so it is pleasant to find great ribs so far from home. The parking lot was full on this Thursday night and a great little band was playing inside. I wasn’t as crazy about the sausage stuffing as my husband was; I thought it wasn’t warm enough and the flavor was just meh for me. I also had a chunky apple sauce, which was sweet and delicious. His other side was the baked beans and he said they were good. Now back to those ribs. I see where others had a dry batch experience, but ours were juicy, tender and big! I had 3 ribs, plus a chicken breast. The chicken was juicy too, but the ribs stole the show for me. At first, I didn’t realize that the chicken had been sliced and was stacked amongst the ribs, so I was a little surprised at the presentation. The ribs and chicken were stacked on top of a piece of Texas toast, but I would have preferred it on the side so that the BBQ sauce wouldn’t have made it a bit soggy. The sauce itself was tangy with a little kick and not overly done. I would have given this a 5 star rating had it not been for the just ok side dish and soggy toast. Next time, I will choose a different side and ask for the bread separately.

maybe it was a bad night… our experience overall was less than stellar. Service — as others have stated here — the servers are running trying to keep up with the pace… I wouldn’t consider it bad service — but it appeared to us that they could use at least 1 more server Food — I’m a bit puzzled about others raving about the ribs — ours were overcooked(read dry) with a LOT of sauce(to replace the dryness?) — so when we go out for BBQ we usually look towards whether the chefs use a LOT of sauce to cover up or minimal sauce to allow the meat to speak for itself… again maybe a bad night. Ambience — like others have said — cheap beers, loud music — all very well done if that’s the vibe you’re looking for.

The Bridgeport Rib House is about as divey as a place can get. The Harleys line up in the parking lot. The last time that I was there, the band asked everyone with a CDL to waive their hands in the air before they resumed playing(remarkably well) at an earsplitting volume. The service could definitely be speedier on busy nights, the tables are shoved pretty close together, the«décor» is strange(especially the fish tank on the way to the bathrooms), and the live music is often unreasonably loud. But the servers are friendly, the music is good, the beers are cheap, they have some of the best ribs anywhere, and the rest of the menu is awesome, too(the Italian pork sandwich is a surprise winner). If the divey biker vibe doesn’t work for your occasion, or if it’s a time when a collection of middle aged people drunkenly doing the wobble in the makeshift dance area(i.e., the doorway) will be a problem, you might prefer someplace else. But, if you want to enjoy ribs and a beer in a crowd of people having a good time, the Rib House is your spot.

SOGOOD! This biker bar delivers some of the best BBQ around philly, with cheap beers, and a variety of sauces. The interior is a bit of a dive, but the beers are cheap and the BBQ is delicious. The have chicken, ribs, and many other options. The have package deals, where you can get a whole bunch of food, which is perfect for a group. We typically get it as takeout and eat it at our house.

I am from North Carolina and I am used to delicious food. This place really changed my opinion about the food in this region. They had great food great service! Awesome specials. So so so good!!! You will find when you first arrive that the atmosphere is very loud. This is not necessarily a bad thing it just depends on what you are in the mood for. It feels like a down home rib joint that somehow made its way to the King of Prussia area. Certainly worth a shot if you are in town. Don’t let the outside fool you because there is quite a treat inside.

I really enjoy the BBQ at Bridgeport Ribs. I order the same thing each time — non-sweet iced tea, three pieces chicken, ½ rack spare ribs, Texas toast, coleslaw, and beans as my 2 sides. $ 18.00 I like both the mild and the hot honey. The hot honey is spicy and I like spicy. Most places advertise spicy and it isn’t. It is a bar, a biker bar, but there is nothing to worry about. The staff is nice and I have never had an issue with others eating or drinking there. I usually go Saturday or Sunday at noon. It is quite and I can get some great food and read. I have had them feed 50 people at my backyard Birthday party and it all was very good. Like live music? They have it in the evenings. Be forewarned, it gets packed and loud but if that is your thing, GO! You will have a blast. Like motorcycles? There will be a whole line of them out front. Check them out but don’t touch.

Awesome place! Friendly staff and the food was soooooo good I’ll gladly drive an hour to get more when I get the chance. Also the portions are huge and like everyone else said the hot honey sauce is great. The music was fun and everyone in the place was having a good time. I’m sad now that my leftovers are all gone.

I had a Groupon here and was a little leary of going here since I heard it was a complete dive. I’m not against dive bars, but it was date night and wasn’t sure what to expect. This is definitely a dive. Wouldn’t take my 5 year old here. But we had a fantastic time. Amy was our server. She was spunky and on top of everything. I ordered the full rack of BBQ ribs and my husband ordered the spare ribs. I got baked beans and coleslaw. It was so good. Seriously delicious. I couldn’t stop eating them and felt bad about my previous hesitation about going. So there’s no table cloth and napkins, but there is some kick but BBQ and salt of the earth people. Can’t wait to go back.

Some of the best smoked ribs I’ve had above the Texas border! We had to try a half rack of both the baby back and spare ribs. Both smoked to perfect. It was suggested from our lovely waitress that we get them with mild sauce, with a side bowl of their famous hot honey. BESTIDEAEVER! It wasn’t too spicy, but just enough to make your nose run ;-) We also had the side of sausage stuffing, which was about as comforting as comfort food can get. The baked BBQ beans were average, nothing special. We will definitely drive out here to get our smoked BBQ fix for now on!

Forget the famous franchises for ribs… this is where you want to go for good baby back and spare ribs. I did not try the chicken but it looked plentiful and delicious. I went on a late Saturday evening and was seated right away. The seating area is not very big so I’m sure there have been times others had to wait but my party lucked out big time. Ribs: I had the baby back ribs and they were fantastic. They were already separated but not lacking any meat. I got the hot & honey sauce and it was nice and tangy. I would have liked it a little more hot but I’m sure others will appreciate the more mild side of it. I got about 6 pieces which was more than plenty. My partner in crime upgraded to the spare ribs which were not only bigger, but had about 2 more pieces than I did. Both ribs are pork meat; no beef. Both were cooked to perfection. Sides: We are given 2 sides of our choice from a list of about 10. We made sure to get 4 different things in total so we could share and try as much as we could. I enjoyed the potato salad because it is the type I’m use to being mayonnaise based. The baked beans were delicious and so was their sausage stuffing. We were encouraged to try the stuffing but next time I will probably trade to try their macaroni salad or onion rings. The cole slaw was excellent too and not too watery. Bar: I can’t say much about the bar. We stayed in the dining area and then left when we were finished, but they had really nice band playing that night. Many of the other customers had leftovers to take home, but we were so hungry that we ate everything. You definitely get plenty of food for the price!

Still the best place to get wings in the Philadelphia area. Haven’t found anything that stacks up against a dozen of their hot honey. Hot honey anything there is excellent. They should have a patent on that sauce. This place is super casual. Don’t go in expecting ambiance of the Ritz with Ed carpet treatment. Go for the best bbq food in the area, cold beer, and live music.

GREATBBQ with alright service. The waiter was nice and polite and he got everything correct but he seemed very frazzled once we were not his only table. They are also losing 1 star due to the atmosphere — very loud. Certainly not a place for a date or conversation. Everyone at the table ordered ribs but each with a different sauce. Each sauce was very tasty but my favorite was the spicy one. Just the right amount of tang. The ribs are unbelievable. They literally fall off of the bone; I have never seen so much meat on a baby back rib. One person also tried the grilled chicken(nothing special) and the brisket(perfectly tender and shredded). As for the sides, the cole slaw is tasty but nothing out of this world. The baked beans are very good. The sausage stuffing I was not a fan of but other people at the table enjoyed. It had good flavor but an odd texture. I would definitely return. Would like to try the pulled pork.
