Yes, it’s a hole-in-the-wall, like the pictures show, but there was parking right outside and it was clean inside. The chicken is as good as you’d expect, but the shrimp was even better, especially in cocktail sauce that you could taste the fresh horseradish in. Clam strips and cod were also really good, but the calamari was slightly overcooked. I’d come back here in a heartbeat for the shrimp and clams alone.

Let them take their time with your food and you’ll get the best food out here I had the Fried calamari and stuffed potato balls, it took me back to my child hood. Definitely coming back here

This time I got a lentil coconut soup followed by fried shrimp. So good and cheap!

Back again! The food was even better this time. We had a mix of fish and chips, fried shrimp and fried yucca. Everything was cooked perfectly and there was more than enough for four adults and a child. We were even given a taste of the lentil coconut soup which I would definitely order. Don’t let the neighborhood or the fact that its a little hole in the wall scare you away… it’s worth the visit.

Low key, no fuss hole-in-the-wall source for all your favorites from the friolator — everything from chicken to okra to fish. Also Jamaican style meat patties and meat-stuffed potato balls. I went there for whole-belly clams, and was not disappointed. Cash only.
