Fabulous customer service! We came in and we were offered a sample of their meat varities(jerk chicken, curry beef, goat, & chicken, and stewed chicken) and the food is phenomenal! Perfect blend of seasoning and generous portions! The bag was so heavy and it was such a great deal. I Will definitely be back :)

Oh my! What a find! Everything the reviews say is true. Came in, spoke to Bobby, told him I didn’t know what to order. He made me a sample plate with 6 or 7 different things. Finally settled on a combo of the stewed chicken and goat. Awesome. Simply awesome!

My husband and I ventured out to try Trinidadian cuisine and boy were we blown away. Hands down the BEST curry shrimp. My husband had the jerk chicken Roti and it was outstanding. I highly recommend trying this place. Great food, good prices, and last but not least, great people! We can’t wait to go back and try something new!

Finding a West Indian(Trinidad) Roti shop is very rare in CT. I was very fortunate to find this Roti shop while looking up restaurants in Bridgeport online. This is the first time I ordered from Bobby B’s Roti Shop in Fairfield. OMG the food was very fresh tasty and delicious. Being a Trinidadian residing in Bridgeport and a past resident of NYC this is the best roti I hve ever eaten apart from home… the Roti at Bobby B’s surpassed the roti on Liberty Ave in Queens NYC. You can find the most authentic West Indian food here in Fairfield. There are a wide variety of food and delicacies with yummy tasting sauces. Love the Dhal pouri doubles aloo pies n curry potatoes. Folks if you like good tasting food check it out for yourself… you don’t hve to spend alot to eat tasty fresh yummy food at your hearts delight. The people who worked here are very friendly and polite. Had the chance to meet Bobby very friendly and humble… good people good food.

Yum! Came in on a Saturday at around 1pm and there were 2 people ahead of me. We couldn’t decide what to get as an entrée so the kind lady behind the counter let us sample the stewed chicken, curry chicken, jerk chicken and jerk pork. We settled on the stew chicken(with chickpeas instead of potatoes) and got it with the roti(with lentils in it) on the side. Also got a doubles. Chicken was really flavorful and so was the paratha/roti/buss up shut! It was thin and light, and unlike any other roti I tried before. The doubles were amazing too. The dough was so fluffy and light which made it for me — the chickpeas inside served it well too. I wonder if instead of roti, the entrees could served in a bigger sized dough of the doubles.yum.I had to get another order of the doubles before I left oops ;) Bobby came out to check on our meal and conversed with us for a bit. He was really insightful as to what Trinidadian cuisine was and answered whatever questions my mom had. Get here if u can! Will definitely come back for more doubles.

So worth the hour drive one way. You smell the deliciousness as soon as you open the door. The main man, Bobby, is a true Trini. sweet and polite. The food! Oh the food! We bough roti, doubles and aloo pies. Also khurma and currant rolls, catch, coco crisp and Charles chocolate. Three chubbys, a coconut water and plenty red mango! They have red mango!!! My husband said the chicken roti was more delicious than the ones he had in Trinidad last year. Yes man… we will be making de drive on a regular!

We had the chicken curry with pumpkin on the side and a roti. The meal was delicious and the portions were plentiful. We took enough home for another meal. The woman at the counter was extremely nice and very helpful. We didn’t know what to order so she gave us samples of several things, including sides. Everything was so good it was hard for us to make a decision. We will definitely return when we are in the area.

I’ve been searching for roti ever since I saw Andrew zimmern on travel channel visit Trinidad and tobago. I ask around, but never found a place. My buddy posted a pic of this place and I’m like oh yeah, it’s on. Arrived with my bro and owner was nice, educated me on roti and gave us samples. Whoa, the chicken, the goat, all were tender and tasty. I took home the stew chicken, my bro, the goat. Odd that another review said portions were small… yeah right! I got the mother of all roti! Huge, packed full out heavenly goodness. There is no doubt I will be back.

I stopped in with a friend of mine and admitted to the owner that my knowledge of Trinidadian food was limited at best. The owner Bobby is a cool dude and took the time to explain to me what everything was. He even went out of his way to let my friend and I try some different samples to see what we liked. Everyone that works here was extremely nice and very patient with us being undecided on what we wanted to order. We ended up going with the stewed chicken and pelau rice. We ordered a roti and Bobby told us there was no way we could eat the roti plain so he even went out of his way to give us a sample of curry chicken and jerk pork. The roti was piping hot and fresh and was the perfect accoutrement. Everything we tried that day was exceptional and Bobby is definitely super personable and went out of his way to make conversation with us. I have to admit before I tried Bobby’s curry chicken I was never really a huge fan of curry but his was so good he’s definitely made me a convert. I’ve been back a few times since then and I have to say that the jerk chicken is probably my favorite out of all of his offerings. I’m definitely looking forward to trying the barbecue chicken that he does as a special once a week. If you’re in the neighborhood or even if you aren’t make it a point to check this place out. I promise you won’t leave disappointed.

The best Caribbean food in CT. Hands down. You basically have to go to Lefferts Queens, NY. to get the same caliber of food. Highly authentic and a nice and clean area to eat. With 20 $ you can eat your hearts content. You can pick literally anything in the menu and it guaranteed you’ll like it. We normally get doubles both the tamarind(mild) and hot pepper(hot). If they run out of that we get the aloo pie with Chana. For a dinner entrée, we get got curry with rice and Chana plus a side of pumpkin. Oxtails are amazing as well, so is the duck. Definitely a gem in Bridgeport. Kudos to the owner bobby for a great establishment.

Omg! The tamarind sauce is amazing. It’s not thin like most roti shops I’ve been to in queens. It’s nice and thick with a kick! The pulhori is so soft. I will definitely be back! I can’t wait to eat my roti later today!

Really nice little spot. Food is yummy. Not the greatest place to dine-in, but the food is amazing. Bobby(owner) is really cool and can tell when you are unfamiliar with the food. He let a buddy of mine try some of the meats before he bought anything. Don’t have too many Trini places in the area, so I got excited when I could finally try doubles. Would recommend them. Bobby can make a mix for you depending on what you like regarding tastes, so if you’re indecisive this place is great. 13 $ got me goat roti and doubles(and a coke), was enough to bring some home for dinner. So portion size is right on Nice people, great food. Not much more you can ask for.

This food was the BOMB the roti the bust up shot amazing. Being from ny I didn’t think the food was going to be anywhere near what they sell in the city but they def proved me wrong. The pepper sauce is really hot and flavorful just the way I like it. I would definitely come here everyday for food but I’d gain too much weight. Special shout outs to the people that work here very warm and welcoming THANKYOU –happy customer

Doing goat is very difficult job. I have tried so many times with my Mom’s recipe and I can never get it right. I took a bite of the goat curry roti wrap and it was just perfection in my mouth. It was competing with the goat curry my mom makes. At Bobby B’s, goat curry is just perfect and I would go there again and again just to have their curried goat. The roti’s are fresh and the food is fairly priced as well. A roti wrap fills you perfectly.
