The reviews here are mixed, seemingly because the lodge is under new ownership and the new owners have made all the difference in the world.
I stayed in a cottage, and it was cozy and comfortable (once I finally found the heater). It was raining most of the day that I stayed, and the gentle sound of rain on the roof was a great soundtrack to fall asleep to and wake up to. The skylight also let the rising sun gradually wake me.
Breakfast was amazing — Beatriz made a meat and potato hash, and talked about all of her food suppliers. (She’d even known the pig that supplied the ham in the hash!)
I’ll definitely be back if I ever visit the Columbia River Gorge.

I stayed here when the new owners Beatrice and Janina first opened! First I would say, the trees and enforcement were stunning! I stayed in cabin B, I believe, and the skylight Windows, and cozy plush towels, made me feel like I was in another world! Now the food! Omg homemade, organic, and delicious! Bridal veil, is right across the street from many amazing hikes! I hiked, I slept, I ate! This place was awesome. The owners were incredibly friendly, but not too much! They made you feel comfortable the whole time! I won’t stay at any other place now! I found my spot, when I visit Oregon!

After being back one week from our wonderful visit to Bridal Veil Lodge Bed and Breakfast I’m sitting here wishing I was back there. The cottages were wonderful, so cozy and so comfortable. The new owners were very gracious and accommodating in every aspect. The food was beyond five star delicious, the freshest of ingredients, perfectly sized portions, beautifully served. Bea truly is a master chef. The location of the lodge is perfect for visiting all the falls. We can’t wait to go back. If I could give this a 10 stars rating I would definitely give it a 10 plus.

Excellent stay. Did a lot of research into where to stay in the waterfall area and the Bridal Veil Falls lodge was at the top of the list. It’s located off the Historic Scenic Highway that runs down the Columbia River Gorge waterfall area… and right across the street from the parking lot for Bridal Veil falls. Beatrice and her doggies were there to greet us upon arrival. Super friendly. Loved the room — so beautiful! Huge restoration hardware bath sheets and quality tea/​coffee and bath products.
My only concern was that Bigfoot was going to come to the window in the middle of the night and stare at us while we slept :) ok not really.
Breakfast was delicious.

I cannot say enough about this hidden gem. Located directly across from the park entrance to the falls, it boasts a charming guest cottage surrounded by verdant green forest. From the comfy bed you can look out the picture window or the skylight and see nothing but bright green leaves and moss covered tree trunks. It is the definition of serenity. The hosts are interesting and friendly without being overbearing and the breakfast was delicious and plentiful. If you are looking for a secluded getaway, you can’t go wrong. As a bonus, you can be the first to arrive at the falls in the morning if you head across the street before breakfast.
