Justin’s Barbershop

A few years ago when Raymond worked he was great. A nice guy would cut my hair perfect the way I wanted taken in right away at my appointment time… he had a car accident and hasn’t been back sadly. I went back 3 times after each time horrible service and hair cuts. There’s some kid that pretty much gives you whatever haircut he thinks is cool and not what you ask for. The other times I went with an appointment I ended up waiting around 40 min and half that time the barbers were either on their cell phones, watching the tv, making trips to the 711 across the street, or playing the would you rather game with each other. I get it you want to have fun at work but at the same time I just want to go there get a cut and get out. Not wait and watch them play games and take forever. I found another place down the street called billy gs cutting den. It’s pretty great, he listens, hes professional, he knows how to cut a dudes hair.

Just left the barbershop… walked in and asked by employee on the phone whether I had an appointment. Employee, while on the phone told me it will be awhile an went into the back. Sat with another customer for at least 10 minutes, listening to employee, still in the back talking on the phone. No one cutting hair, WTF. Left, just a surreal experience!!!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! I rarely write reviews, but people need to know how awful this place is. Impossible to get a haircut on time at this place. Last time I went I was a walk-​in and they said about 15min and over an hour passed without anyone saying a word. Once I was finally taken and told them I just wanted a simple buzz cut the guy cutting my hair started joking with one of the other barbers about his record 5 minute haircut and how he was going to try to break it. Someone who was there recommended making an appointment so I decided to give the place one more try. I made an appointment and got there 10 minutes early and ended up waiting over forty minutes. A walk-​in came in and was taken before me. The guy who was supposed to cut my hair was cutting his friend’s hair and they were blatantly goofing off the whole time and taking text breaks. I finally left without even getting a haircut and I will NOT be back. Places like this don’t deserve to be in business. The definition of incompetent and unprofessional.

Went today and had no appointment. I know the were busy but took my name and told me to sit… Wouldn’t be long. People came in and out with appointments and after 1 hour and 45 minutes, left. None of the 5 guys working cared. I know they were busy but don’t take me and tell me a minute and then take appointments while I sit for 1 hour 45 minutes. Guy then said «sorry dude» when I left. Won’t be back or recommend this place.

Went for the first time for a haircut and it was good. Ray cut my hair and he did a great job and was very friendly, asked what I was looking for and even made recommendations. I will be back for my next haircut to see Ray!
