Someone who I believe was the owner was very polite and nice but wasn’t wearing gloves when preparing food. The place seems very unclean. Probably won’t go here again.

Very good turkey platter. All homemade: turkey, mash, stuffing, and pan gravy. Very nicely done Joey! And for $ 8? This is an undiscovered gem in Brick.

I’ve lived in the area for 10 years and frequented Mama D’s deli often. When it closed I was very down because I liked their food, friendly service and the convenience. I was very pleased when Joey’s Neighborhood Deli opened in the same location. Owners Joey and Regina are very friendly and offer terrific menu selections for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I can’t say enough good things about Joey’s, their offerings and service!

This deli is under new ownership and the guy has improved it in all areas. He’s got all the staples plus a long list of daily specials. Customer service is excellent and fast. I also see a list of call ahead tray items like sausage lasagna, chicken francaise etc.

Not sure why the bad reviews. These people couldn’t have been nicer. While Joe was attentively creating my Rueben, wife Regina was striking up conversation with me. Boars Head everything so how can you go wrong? Sandwich took a little long but as I said, he was so intense, it looked as he was creating a masterpiece. Gotta say, the sandwich is very good. Lean corned beef, thick sandwich and all fresh. Side pickle and slaw, all for $ 6.99. Joe proudly stated this same sandwich would be 9.99 elsewhere. Thanks for that Joe but I love your exuberance and pride. Place is old but not unclean as reviewed by others. Only scary thing here are the lady clients coming in with mullets.

This place is pretty dirty, the management is rude, and the overpriced food just isn’t that good.

Avoid at all costs. This guy is a complete ripoff. He advertised bring you father in on Fathers Day and he gets a free breakfast sandwich. So my daughter brought me there. We ordered the sandwich and a chocolate milk as well. We were then told it was buy one get one free. Not actually a «free» sandwich. I looked at three other hand written signs all saying the same thing which was, bring in your dad for a free sandwich. Not one said you had to purchase a full sandwich. The sandwiches then were burnt to boot and too messy to eat. Dishonesty is not a trait a business owner should have.

I stopped in by accident thinking it was still Mama D’s, and I’m glad I did. The owner and his wife are very friendly, and have a very nice little deli. The meat is Boar’s Head which is a BIG plus, and its piled on the sandwiches pretty thick! They have an extensive breakfast menu with delicious sandwiches at a great price. Definitely try the«Uncle Mike» which is a breakfast wrap with eggs, hot Italian sausage, hot peppers, onions, mozzarella, and hot sauce! There are different specials every day, and almost everything is homemade. I have yet to try the wings but I hear they blow everyone out of the water around here!
