Beach Bum Tanning Brick

Brittany did my airbrush tan for a wedding. She told me about the specials but wasn’t pushy (thank you!). I was a little worried about looking super fake or orange because I am naturally so pale, but she took the time to listen to what I was looking for. It turned out perfect!

This is where I go tanning I have the unlimited package where I can go tanning in any level and also spray tan in the mystic or get a custom airbrush tan great prices and the beds always get me a nice color and the air brush tans are awesome. I’ll do a for wrap every one in a while but it’s so hott!!! Lol

I go here only for the fit wrap. They do have the best deal around for $ 99 unlimited to every other day. I think Alex and Nikki are the only friendly and accommodating people there though. Everyone else has an attitude and are just plain rude. Nikki definitely has great customer service skills.

Just started going here this week. Just looking for a little color before I head south for a week and have to wear shorts! Don’t want my white ass legs sticking out like a sore thumb! Anyway, love it here. The lobby area is clean, spacious and comfortable although not super important because I’ve never had to wait for a bed! I use the stand up bed because the other one are too much like a coffin and make me claustrophobic! But in just two 7 & 9 min sessions I already have a a light tan. The front desk employee was patient with me my first time in, explained my options, the packages and even suggested the best way to get my tan and save a little money. Will definitely be buying more sessions here to keep up a little color until it’s warm enough to get to the beach!

I used to love this place and have been going for a few years now. The beds are not updated they don’t ever keep the water in the titanium /​platinum beds. The prices are still high and the quality of the beds is that of a regular tanning place not the elite as beach bum used to be.

Went here for a 2^nd time about a month ago to use a pre-​paid spray tan I had since the last time I went there.
Walked in, was taken right away, all of the employee interactions were extremely friendly and professional. I had the same girl spray tan me as the 1^st time and she was very friendly and professional. My spray tan turned out perfectly and I couldn’t be more pleased.

Well, this is a first, i’m taking the time to write about a tanning salon! Well, I moved to Brick in sept, and have heard that this place is filled with tanning salons. I’ve been to a salon on van zile that was great, but VERY expensive. I also went to a tiki tan on (i think) chambers bridge… wasn’t to impressed. But then i heard there was a Beach Bum tanning salon in Brick, my friend told me that these places are great, so i decided to give it a shot. They really supprised me! I bought a great package (level silver[2]) for 49 bucks! That’s a cheap price compared to others. This includes 10 sessions which are good for 60 days.
The equipment for silver is a Cobra bed with HP face tanners. I have tanned in gold (a UWE Lotus) and recently a Platinum bed (Dr. Mueller Icon). I liked the cobra bed, but was high in uvb, so i tanned in the gold for only 3 dollars, i like the bed a lot… it doesn’t burn, it doesn’t seem to strong for me (not an avid tanner with leather skin).
The platinum bed was slightly dissapointing. Dr. Muller beds are good beds, the icon is also a good bed, very strong. But the beachbum website has the Orbit as level gold… the icon is the new version of the Orbit. NOW i wouldn’t have a problem with this, but half the features on the bed wouldn’t work. Which makes the bed an Orbit with stronger bulbs. The bed is supposed to have aromatherapy (didn’t work) a misters for when you’re to hot (didn’t work) and the ionizer feature could not be found (my fault). The bed had VERY STRONG face tanners. I felt like the skin was melting off my face, so i decided to turn them down to min… wish there was a medium level, but it was still a nice touch.
Besides the cheaping out on features for the bed… this place is great! Great prices… sundays you get a free tan (not even using tans from a package) when you purchase a $ 5 lotion packet (pretty sure that’s how it works). Good lotion selections.
This place needs to advertise there iBed, they also need the rejuvisun, and some type of non-​uv mosturizing bed (planet beach has them they’re great). This location also offers UV free tanning California Tan Booth, and Airbrush.
OH YEAH! They’re open tilll 12am… the only place i know where i can tan at 11pm, staff doesn’t make you feel unwelcome comming in the door at 11pm either.
This place is #1 in my books for tanning or i wouldn’t have bothered with the review!
