Poor customer service extremely understaff in aisles and registers at certain times only 1 register is open for contractors all other registers closed except express checkout which sometimes is not express. Can’t wait for Lowe’s to come here better quality products and service.

Ugh run away from this store! The tool rental center has one guy working there And a long line of customers! They are completely useless and have no regard for your time.

Nice clean store. Helpful staff. Slow checking out if you’re waiting on the self checkout line bc there are no actual cashiers.

If you need something at this Home Depot you may as well drive the extra 20 minutes and go to Lowes. The only people more incompetent than the employees are whatever managers are on duty. Good luck finding any help.

With all the staff reductions if you find someone that can help you it is a miracle. Then if you can find someone with some technical expertise it is a super miracle. I no longer shop there, I take a little extra drive to Lowes in Danbury.

After my trip to Home Depot this weekend I am speechless. I have been frequenting this Home Depot since it opened a few years ago. Recently we lost our home in Hurricane Sandy, and have been shopping there more often. This is our second time renting a generator from Home Depot. I was appalled by the customer service we encountered upon returning it. We returned from New Jersey late in the evening, and returned the generator first thing the following morning. We were informed that we would incur a $ 50 late fee. When we explained our situation to the manager, Christina Lopresti, she was firm in insisting we pay a fee. This sort of price gauging during times of crisis in unacceptable. I am incredibly disappointed with this specific store(we have never had an issue with Danbury, for example). Shame on You, Home Depot. Lowes was on TV for giving out dinners to Sandy victims on Thanksgiving Day. Lowes, here we come!

They have a garden store, but they have just big quantities of a few items. If you want something that is not mainstream they won’t have it. The same goes in all categories.

A little bit of trivia for you. They say the wife of the guy who started Home Depot, divorced him, then left and started Lowes. Lowes was meant to be more customer friendly and even more women oriented. That being said, if you know what you want and want to get it quick, no muss, no fuss, Home Depot is the place for you. They don’t give you a problem if you want to make a return, and the prices are generally good. There’s a «no pets» sign at the front door, but I take my black lab with me every time and they not only allow her access but love petting her! Everyone is friendly and this location is easy to get to, being so close to 84. I’m updating my review 9÷16÷2015 — They are getting a 5th star for their exceptional customer service. I had ordered thousands of dollars worth of materials from Home Depot’s online store. After we completed the project we had to return a bunch of unused items. Because we had ordered from the online store(which ISNOT the same as the physical store), we had nothing but problems on the return. Some items could not be scanned. Some were scanned, but no dollar value came up, some scanned and correct dollar value came up, but the system wouldn’t take the return. On one day I literally stood at the counter for over 3 hours. Tim, the supervisor came by to help out. He didn’t realize what he was in for, and over the course of several days, numerous emails and calls, all our issues were finally resolved. Truly great customer service. They have a fan in me!
