This is a great place to get a beautiful gift for someone. They have a large selection of glass plates and bowls at various sizes and prices. The store showcases their annual special edition plates from the 60’s as well as their current pieces. The majority of the designs are floral patterns, with a few complex geometric designs. I think that the work is done well and beautiful. However, I think the designs are a bit dated and the emphasis on floral designs limits the gift giving. Luckily, I found a platter that I was able to gift to my Dad for fathers day. Every man retiring to Florida needs a sea shell platter. The woman did a great job wrapping up the plate. Plate was wrapped, box was lined, tissue was snuggled in next to the plate, plate was wrapped in box. Nice customer service… While wrapping up the plate she explained the process that is involved in making the plates. The whole thing is pretty cool… layer of clear glass, colored glass laid out with stencils, layer of clear glass and then baked at 1500 for 5 hours, plus 40 hours of cooling!

An awesome array of glass plates using a method that dates back to Egyptian times. Friendly staff, and they will even ship your purchase, if you so desire. A classic Cape destination and product.
