The experience I had with Route 22 Cycles/Triumph Westchester was very bad and disappointing. I am a resident of Putnam County and lived literally around the corner from their facility on Route 22. When I made an appointment to have my husband’s motor scooter serviced by them I was told it would be picked up between 9−10am. The person finally showed at 6:30pm. I was never told that the Patterson facility was closing and they were taking all bikes down to White Plains. When my scooter was finally finished(after almost 3 weeks of calling and being put off), I was told I could pick it up in White Plains or it would cost to have it delivered back to my home. We decided to give the scooter to our son to take to Brooklyn so he paid close to $ 500 for the service bill. He took it to Brooklyn where it worked for less than a week. My son took it to a repair place in Brooklyn only to be told it was going to cost close to $ 2,000 to repair the engine because a rodent had taken up residence in the motor and it had been chewed beyond repair. WHYDIDN’T TRIUMPHWESTCHESTERTELLUSTHIS??? After paying $ 500 for what was supposed to be a full service we received back a non operational motor scooter. STAYAWAYFROMTHISPLACE.
