La Strada Pizza & Pasta

There are a lot of pizza places in this area and our family has tried them all. We found every one of them «just okay» until La Strada opened. Their pizza is easily the best around and I say this after several visits. We will always go back for their pizza and look forward to trying some of their other dishes in the future.
Very low on the ambience scale but after all it is a pizza place first.

I remember coming here one night and saw some guy throwing out the trash and I asked if they were still open, he just turned around and looked at me. I asked a little louder and he still just stared at me, then walked inside. I go inside it’s only him with I guess a waitress. The waitress was nice and asked what I liked so I ordered two slices to go. The grumpy guy which I suppose makes the pizza seemed like he was mad that I ordered pizza at a pizzeria? The pizza is pretty good, not too friendly staff.

I’ve ordered delivery multiple times from here, and the food my family gets ends up being mostly bland. For accurate memory recall purposes, this review will be about our latest delivery. This is just going to be easier to list then paragraph so:
1. for $ 18, you’d think our orders of shrimp scampi would be better than 5 pieces of buttered shrimp on top of a cooked box of buttered spaghetti (aren’t they Italian? Where’s the sauce!?)
2. expect to get steak fries with everything (and you aren’t offered another choice)
3. the veggie wrap was the most bland thing I’ve tasted since I last ate school food (again, no sauce/​dressing)
4. we ordered cheese fries (didn’t know we’d be getting fries with everything) and there was barely any cheese on them which wasn’t cool
Today was the final chance we gave, and now we’re eating elsewhere from this day forward. It’s too bad because it was so close.
The two positive stars are for service and the good pizzas! Gianni is usually our delivery guy and he’s awesome. This place should really just sell pizza since that’s all they seem to be good at making. (But wouldn’t you rather just go to Guitano’s)

Great local Italian restaurant. The owners are so friendly and the pizza is delicious! Highly recommend!

Pizza is average but the pinwheels and pasta dishes are pretty good. Love that you can bring your own wine in to enjoy w dinner! Nice owners and waitstaff!

The pizza is very tasty and two of the friendliest owners you could meet run it. We’ll be back for that reason alone.
