Eaten here only once before, but the experience was nice. I had dinner with my parents and the staff was friendly to us. The food was good, but nothing outstanding really. I later surprised my parents with a giftcard to here for their anniversary and hope they had a similar if not better experience. Can’t really vouch all too much for other times of the day, but definitely worth a try!

One of our favorite places to go, especially for a drink later in the evening and some appetizers. My son and I enjoyed the Sunday brunch buffet they had last summer and am excited for it to come back! The bar has a nice, casual vibe to it, too.

My husband and I have dined here and in their other locations for years… we have our favorites, for sure. Mine is either the salmon, tuscan chicken or the short ribs. My husband loves the chicken or eggplant parm or the steak tips. We’ve also ordered their family meals(a great value and also quite delicious) and, even though the restaurant is closed for the winter, Joe agreed to provide family meals for a party that I could pick up at the Captain’s Golf Course where he was doing a catering event. That day, due to an impending snowstorm, his event was cancelled but Joe kept his word and provided the food that I needed for a family dinner after my daughter’s bridal shower. He not only provided the food but arranged to have it delivered to me earlier than we had planned to pick it up so I wouldn’t have to leave the shower. I will never forget this kind of service… thank you, Joe. You are the best!

Hummus and tabouleh platter appetizer was a fun start, but Greek Salad was more iceberg lettuce than anything else; Angus beef tips and accompanying grilled veggies were overdone, dry. Service was good, waitress was attentive. We were seated in the tower room, which was significantly colder than the main dining room. We felt hurried, and therefore did not linger for dessert and coffee. I might return once to give it another chance, but would not enter with«fine» dining expectations.

went with some neighborhood friends at their suggestion. two in the party ordered mediterranean platter, two ordered pork saltimbocca. waitress was excellent and good sense of humor and attention to service. pork had very large portions and was fine. my wife’s mediterranean platter was very average and seemed like store bought ingredients; grape leaves were all perfectly the same size making her think they came from a jar or can. flavor was unspectacular. the rest of platter was very average. the kicker was that at 8:15 they began to set up sunday morning brunch right next to us. it was noisy and disruptive as they took our dining tables and brought in buffet tables. next were the stainless serving containers, clanging and banging. it was like eating in the kitchen. it was our friends’ pick, so we didn’t say anything at the restaurant. i called when we got home to simply say, ‘hey, that was very disruptive and you shouldn’t do the set-up till after the restaurant is empty’. manager was very apologetic, agreed and said thank you for calling. may give them another chance, but not sure. very average restaurant, and inconistent service. jw

What a great meal! My wife had the Angus tips and I had two kabobs — Lamb and Swordfish. Both meals were cooked perfect and were very delicious. For a starter we had the falafel platter and split a Caesar salad. Both of these were good. The thing that really set this place apart was the friendly family atmosphere. We had our two year old with us and toward the end of our meal the hostess volunteered to spend time with our little guy so we could finish our meal. He loved getting a ‘tour’ of the restaurant and meeting all the different staff. Everyone was so friendly and helpful and with the food tasting great this place was easily 5 stars for us.

We had a great family meal at Ardeo while visiting Brewster recently. The service and food were great despite it being a busy weekend night. Seafood was tenderly prepared and not overcooked. My order had a nice balance of complimentary textures and flavors which I really enjoyed. My wife and children have food allergies, and the wait staff were very gracious and accommodating with our numerous special requests. Portions were sizable and we took some of our food home with us and enjoyed the leftovers for lunch the next day. I read a few of the negatives comment and am skeptical of their reviews. The owner was cheerfully engaged with customers and wait staff and again, despite it being very busy, all were very gracious and welcoming and treated as if we were the only customers in the restaurant. My only complaint was the noise level in the restaurant. It was hard to hear conversation at our table due to the noise from other tables. A few partitions could easily provide more privacy and help keep the noise level down. Regardless, we’ll certainly return to Ardeo when we are back in Brewster again.

YESYESANDYES! The best restaurant on Cape. The ratings are probably down on here since the demographic of Ardeo’s normal customer doesn’t have/use a smart phone. The locals love Ardeo and there’s a reason they’ve been in business for over 35 years! The Gorgonzola candied walnut salad with fried onion strings was amazing and their portions are HUGE for the price. Their nightly specials are always new and existing. The Ahi Tuna was better than any that I’ve had at a Japanese restaurant, let alone a Mediterranean. Homemade Tiramisu for dessert is a must!

I can’t attest to the quality of the food because we were never served. We waited with our two kids for nearly an hour for our food and finally gave up and left. When we complained to the server, he tried to tell us we weren’t waiting as long as we thought — which is ridiculous because anyone with hungry kids knows that you count every minute until your food arrives. What a waste of a night out on our vacation.

Only positive, the hostess and server were friendly and aimed to please. Menu noted that Ardeo’s was a family owned restaurant & that they’d been in the restaurant business for over 30years. However, according to our server, this particular Brewster location was just 2 years old. Décor inside looked like it was the leftovers from the other two restaurants that resided their prior. Very tired and in need of a refresh and paint. When food arrived it reflected the tiredness of the restaurant and was mediocre at best. Burgers were dry and over cooked, chicken parm was flavorless and asparagus ravioli red sauce dish served w/seasonable vegetables(beets???) felt and tasted more like they were trying to use up all the left over vegetables they had in their kitchen before they went bad. Unfortunately, we will not be returning. Not sure how anyone does.

I’ve eaten take out here twice for lunch. I ordered the Mezza plate both times and it was consistently good. It comes with hummus, baba, tabouli, yogurt sauce and chickpea salad. Instead of pita I ask for carrot sticks and it makes for a very healthy meal. It all tastes very authentic and freshly made. However, the service here is horrible. Even with no one in the restaurant the servers are flustered and unsure of what to do. There was a server guy(very tall) who kept licking his fingers and it was super gross. I watched him deliver dessert to a table and he got whipped cream on his hand and licked it off and then served the plate to the table. I’m just glad that guy wasn’t the one making my food. The rest of the menu looks great so I would love to try it out.

Horrible dining experience. Noise level was unbearable and service awful. Appetizer was okay but the main meal was inedible. Will never go back to this place again. Cannot figure out how they survive.

Ardeo in Brewster near the post office and stony Brooke as well as the ardeo in the Yarmouth plaza on station ave were two of my favorite places to eat on cape. Sadly both of these locations are now closed and the new one in Brewster just doesn’t hold up to what ardeo used to be . One of my families favorite ardeo menu items was the pizzas which they have done away with completely. A single tear is shed from my eye thinking that I will never again taste the delectable Greek salad pizza from ardeo. My family is entirely vegetarian and ardeo used to offer a bigger than most selection of vegetarian dishes. At the new Brewster location I was sad to find that this selection has shrunk significantly. I hate to say go for a bigger chain over the local business but not your average joes in Hyannis has replaced ardeo for me when looking for this type of dining experience.

This place was terrible. There was a piece of wire in my meal and the host reacted as if this wasn’t unusual. The wait staff was terrible — dropping dishes and glasses. The home made ravioli was tasteless and the was no chicken in the chicken orzo soup. Avoid this place at all costs !!!

Very disappointing service experience. The service was slow, highlighted by the presentation of my entrée 20 minutes after the the delivery of entrees to the other guests in our party; it was delivered to another table. Rather than complain in front of our guests, I approached the manager after everyone departed. She was appropriately apologetic. While the food was good, the service experience didn’t meet expectations.

Took a nice little trip with the family to the cape during mid week… nothing was open during the day. Stop here and had a nice experience. We had the restaurant all to ourselves. Food was better than I thought. The price was very reasonable.(that’s why I thought the food wouldn’t be great) Our server who was the hostess /waiter /and bar tender was personable and very knowledgeable concerning the menu and drinks! I would definitely come back here. Only complaint our food took longer than the average wait considering we were the only ones in the restaurant.

Great food, terrible service. I am a waitress myself, so I’ve seen a lot of things happen in restaurants but I have never seen anything like this. I was literally left speechless by the actions of my server. I’ve lived in Brewster for years, and been to other Ardeo’s locations dozens of times. Can’t promise I’ll be back to this one, for fear of getting this server again.

My review is technically for the Ellsworth Pavilion at the Captains Golf Course in Brewster, which Joe Jamiel of Ardeo’s handles the function space and catering. I was responsible for coordinating my company holiday party and with approximately 75 people, we were having a difficult time finding the right venue to accommodate everyone plus a band for dancing. Fortunately, we thought of the Pavilion at the golf course and after speaking with Joe, I knew it would be a success. The food was outstanding! Joe listened to what our needs were and created a menu that fit out budget and taste. It was executed perfectly. In addition, we were able to choose our wines/beer and had amazing staff to handle the crowd. Kudos to Joe and the entire Ardeo catering team for making my job so much easier. Everyone has said it was our best party yet! We look forward to going back next year :)
