Awesome food and service. Victor was very hospitable and the food was fresh and flavorful. I was almost skeptical at first because they charge for the chips and salsa but I see why. It’s not your typical chips and salsa you’d find.

We love Quixotes! Atmosphere is great with a fireplace going in the winter and sparkling star light fixtures overhead. The food is also great. The menu has such interesting items – my favorite is their POLLOCONMANZANA Y NUEZ which is chicken breast, cooked in a cream sauce made from nuts and apples. The chicken is so tender! We topped out meal off with churros and hot chocolate! It is a family owned business and they are always so welcoming and accommodating!

I enjoyed the hell out of this restaurant! We were greeted by the owner’s daughter, Marianna made comfortable despite our having shown up 30 minutes before closing time, and we were served the most wonderful home-style Mexican food I have ever had. We had fish and chicken dishes that just couldn’t be beat for freshness, flavor and presentation. Thanks to Marianna and her mom and dad for an outstanding dining experience!

I just finished a wonderful meal at Quixote in Brevard, NC. I had the Lomo en Salsa de Champinones(Lunch Portion). It was preceded by a cup of the soup of the day. Both the soup and the entrée were delicious. The meal was accompanied by a nice Chilean Cabernet that was very good. As I ate my meal, I wondered why I don’t dine at Quixote more. I have always had very fine food there. I decided that, at 77, it must be «out of sight; out of mind.» Quixote serves fine Mexican dishes. It is not a Tex-Mex in and out restaurant. The food is very well prepared and very pleasant on the palate. I have decided that I shall try to remember to eat at least one meal per week at Quixote.

Victor has an awesome place. The margarita was incredible. It was homemade and very tasty ! We had the cheese fundido as an appetizer. It was cheese and chorizo baked togethet untill brown, it made all other queso dips taste like nasty greasey flavorless and just not good. The queso fundido is a must try ! My wife had a burrito and I had a chicken dish I cant remember the name of but both dishess were pretty epic i wish we lived closer so we could enjoy the food more often !

Very good. Every time I go I have a great experience. The staff is so friendly and the food is fresh. This is my favorite Mexican place in Brevard. I like the art and décor. I don’t know I’m not I Mexican food expert, but there is just something about this place that sets it apart. I usually get some fajitas, but I always get some jokes from the staff. I also like the desserts. The location is not the best I’m always wondering: how do I get in or out?

We went anticipating a good, well prepared new and dining experience. What we got was very nice presentation and restaurant décor, but food quality that was very much below expectation. The steak tacos were awful, rubbery and not prepared well. The chicken tacos tasted like crock pot chicken, and no chips chips and salsa were provided. They did replace my tacos for a different item at no charge, but I will definitely not eat there again.

We ordered take out. Once we got back home, we realized the extra tortillas we ordered must have meant no tortillas at all with fajitas. When we called the restaurant, the staff indicated that if we didn’t say what kind of tortillas we wanted(flour or corn) they assumed it meant none… even though we ordered extra. Dissatisfied.

AWESOME! My gf and I are from s. fl and KNOW good Mexican food. I would eat here all the time if it where in my town! Pretty authentic you need to ask for toppings to spice it up. Authentic Mexican is like that. Very fresh!

This is not your classic Mexican restaurant. It’s way better because the food is freshly made! Our first dining experience here was very impressive. The restaurant décor/atmosphere is somewhat classy, but still casual. The service was prompt. It appears to be a family-owned place where all the family works. Very nice people. The menu is a good size, but not too huge like most Mexican places. The food is absolutely delicious. It tastes different than typical Mexican food we’ve had… Because it’s fresh! We started with the guacamole appetizer; it was hands-down the best guacamole ever. We actually had to wait a lil bit for it because they made it fresh. And no extra preservatives or flavor enhancers… Just plain delicious. Our dinners were awesome too. And the drinks are huge! Tasty sangria. We also tried the flan & were pleased. Overall, a more-than-fabulous Mexican restaurant. We will be back often!

Place is very eclectic, almost odd décor! Statues of Don Quixote, and odd planters hanging in the middle of the restaurant~ needs some help! The house cab and my husbands porter were great and reasonable. I had vegetable fajita/quesadilla– delish. My hubby had steak soft taco. Although pretty plain(no cheese, onion, etcetera) he liked it. Both served with beans and rice. Forgot to mention all entrée come with cup of pablano pepper soup, which was delicious. Service was good, but perhaps maybe close to the the point of being intrusive. Someone came by our table over 5 times to ask about our dinners. Food good, décor and servers communicating better would make it 5 stars.

Service was good, friendly. Despite the great reviews that brought us here, and the creative sounding menu items, the food was bland and very mediocre. Truly disappointing. I had to double-check the address to make sure we were eating at the same place that received all of the 4 and 5 star ratings. I just cannot imagine how because everything … from the chips and salsa, to the ‘top-shelf, $ 12(!) margarita, to the fajitas … was bland and unimaginative. And yet they charge as if they’re an ‘upscale’ mexican restaurant. I visit Brevard 1 – 2 times per year, but I won’t be back to Quixote.

We stopped in for lunch on 4th of July. We were visiting family in the area and saw the reviews on Unilocal so decided to give it a try. Our group of 8 made us 50% of the lunch crowd at first so it was no problem getting a table but it got more busy as the lunch hour proceeded. The menu had lots of options from tacos to enchiladas to salads, soups and appetizers. Our group tried a variety of things starting with the guacamole which our group really liked. We also tried the queso fundito which took forever to arrive at the table and was pretty firm when it got to the table so it may have been sitting there for a while. Our lunch came just a minute after the cheese arrived. This is a family run restaurant and we were waited on by one of the sons. He’s trying but his experience isn’t yet up to par with professional waiters. I tried the enchiladas –one with the green chile sauce(very good) and the other with the mole(spicy and flavorful). Overall the food was good but the service uneven.

If I could give this place more than five stars, I would! My boyfriend and I went to Quixote for lunch today and I couldn’t have been more impressed. Service was fast and friendly. Our waiter had excellent recommendations, and the owner himself brought out a sample of their lentil soup(AMAzing) while we waited for our meal. We ordered the chicken molé and the day’s special… Hawaiian Tacos. The tacos were delicious – the perfect mix of sweet and salty – but the molé was incredible. I was born and raised in New Mexico, still live there for a good part of the year, and never in my life have I tasted a molé so delicious. Unforgettable with the perfect level of sweetness and spice, as well as a subtle char. Perfect. At the end of our meal, we enjoyed a brief conversation with the owner(he also came to check on us a few times as we ate), who is originally from Guadalajara. If you are anywhere in the area, this is THE place to eat – definitely worth going out of the way to enjoy.

Best authentic Mexican food I’ve ever eaten! The staff are friendly and attentive, and the décor is festive yet more upscale than your avaerage Mexican establishment. The menu items are fairly priced, considering everything is made fresh(try the salsa and guacamole!) My favorite thing to get is to split a Texas Fajita with someone(it’s a LOT of food!) And you have got to try a side of calabacitas, my favorite thing on the menu!

Excellent Mexican food. Original, creative, fresh, and delicious! The mole chicken and enchiladas verde were amazing! It is not your typical tex mex. Really good! The staff were great and the chef visited our table to check in on us.

Wow. Just… wow. These guys knocked it out of the park, and they’re nestled in Brevard! All of the appetizers were wonderful — but that didn’t stop them from bringing more, on the house, that were… superb. Nice touch! My wife and I frequently order different things off the menu(although we’d likely choose the same thing — been together a while, eh?) just so we can sample different tastes. I’ve gotta say, we were not disappointed by any of the four entrees we ordered. Okay, you’re probably thinking«Four entrees?» But yeah, we went back the following evening — it was that good! The bar is decent and informed. they know how to mix drinks, and they really do try to give the customer what they want. Desserts? Pick one. You can’t go wrong. We live almost 5 hours away from here, but Quixote is one of the reasons we’ll keep coming back to Brevard. Thanks guys, looking forward to our next trip!
