I always found Highland Bookstore to be very inviting. Tim and Peggy Hanson are always a pleasure to do business with. I will stop in when in the area.

Cute little book store. All new books (meaning not used or second hand), with a decent number of sale items. A small selection of audio books, stationary, and gift items. I found some unique little boxes and other trinkets, and some beautifully carve wooden trays. I’d definitely stop in again to see what they have!

GREAT, tasteful, warm and inviting bookstore — and with some beautiful «Fair-​Trade» type gifts! Owners Peg and Tim and their staff are so friendly and knowledgeable about books, and they are so gracious to host really interesting authors, readings and book talks both local and beyond! I’m an online shopper too sometimes — but let’s spread our buying around to include supporting our cultural resources and gathering places like this wonderful independent bookstore (which also has its own shopping discount program). Thank you Peg and Tim for the love and commitment that keeps you keeping on!
