This place has great coffee, tasty breakfast sandwiches and an almost Saint-like commitment to social change. The space is airy and sunlight filled, and service during my visit was friendly and efficient. I had the breakfast sandwich with ham, egg and Munster cheese on sourdough and it hit the spot. Why don’t more restaurants use Munster? It’s a great melting cheese with wonderful flavor. Thumbs up!

This place is such a cute little coffeeshop. The décor gives off a rustic vibe and the mission of this coffeeshop is so great in its endeavors to help the world. They also have live music here sometimes, and the baristas are really nice. I go here very often.

Great service, atmosphere and cause. Coffee was good too. Plenty of varied seating including tables for 4. Also electrical access for those of us staying for a while to office remotely.

One of the best coffee shops in Nashville, always get consistently great pour overs and just great coffee period. They have recently started roasting their own coffee and I regularly buy about a bag a week, and oh it does NOT disappoint! They are consistently delicious and I always get an amazing cup of coffee when I brew it at home in my Chemex. Also, everyone who works at The Well is awesome! Pretty great place to hang out and get a great cup of coffee :).

Coffeehouse with a heart. I’m not going to go into a ton of detail(if you’re interested, check out their website), but the Well was established by some friends that wanted to open a coffeeshop that could make a difference — and the Well does — by raising money for clean water wells around the world. The Well is bright, clean, and open, with lots of indoor and outdoor seating. They also offer food options(standard coffeeshop fare like sandwiches and hummus). And the coffee and service is good! I hung out at the Well for a few hours today while attempting to study for the bar exam. The coffee was good, but the Well isn’t extremely conducive to studying. I sat at the bar because there were outlets conveniently located there. Unfortunately, the bar is slanted and sits in front of windows that let in a lot of light in the afternoon. When the glare got to be too much, I decided to go study at home. Also, it’s pretty noisy in there. So if you need a quiet place for studying, the Well probably isn’t it! All in all — a great coffeeshop that tries to do some good in the world. Not a bad place to spend a few bucks on a good cup of coffee(even if it won’t be my go to for studying).

The inside of the coffeehouse is beautifully decorated and they have an awesome mission! Workers were very friendly and gave great recommendations, got Congo coffee which was a little bland and the mango lemonade refresher which was so delicious!

The coffee here was good. I had the Cuban which is a personal favorite. I’d for sure stop here again if I were in the area but probably wouldn’t go too far out of my way. It was slightly noisy in the afternoon, which doesn’t bother me personally.

I really enjoyed the Cuban coffee espresso when I’ve been here. Both times it was very good either ordering to go or staying. The atmosphere can get pretty loud and I wouldn’t consider it an ideal place to study but definitely a good coffee shop and a nice place to hang out!

Super cool and hip coffee spot. Conveniently located with plenty of parking available in the garage behind the strip mall. The coffee was great, but this place can get very crowded during peak times and is quite loud. It’s a bit difficult to have an intimate conversation with so much noise. The coffee is great though. I do wish they offered some gluten free food options, as there was nothing on the menu that I could order at the time.

15 minutes for drinks, really bad music performances. Pardon me if I don’t stop in when I’m in a hurry or want to hang out and do some email. Drinks were B+ We’ll try again soon and re-rate accordingly. 3stars means«yeah — sure» but I’m not bragging to friends about the place.

Yesterday was my first time into this shop. Immediately, I was impressed with the layout and design. It was very cozy and welcoming to newcomers. The barista who took my order was cute and sweet and answered the questions I had about their two unique flavor choices. I recommend Fireside: a blend of vanilla and cinnamon. I got an iced latte and it was delicious. The espresso was great. I also got a panini. I don’t remember the name but it had turkey in it. Very tasty. Do recommend. Don’t forget the money you spend here goes to those in need. This is a nonprofit coffee shop who aims to serve and assist those who need a helping hand. I hear they have services on Sunday morning. ANNND if you’d really like to know, I’m headed there again this afternoon. I’ve been craving a Fireside latte all day ;)

New place in a growing area and development in Brentwood, TN. Has a few cool places around to eat but a great place to meet friends and have a good chat. I like the atmosphere and great looking place. You can read, or meet with people while having a cup of coffee. Pricing is just like going to starbucks but you get the atmosphere. Trendy and def. a place to be if you want to be seen!

Adorably cute, friendly staff, great coffee, cozy little chairs to read in. Yes please, count me in. I had been in town for a conference & was excited to spend some quite time before I headed to the airport later in the day. I really can’t recommend this place any more, as it was exactly what I look for in a coffee shop.

The Well is that coffee shop you stop in to make you feel better about the start of the day or your studying/working time. It’s not that they have the best coffee, food, or atmosphere of any coffee shop in town. It’s not that they have the best latte art, scenery, seating options, or any other particular characteristic that stands out. It’s that they are consistently good and make you feel good about getting your coffee fix from them that makes this place work. The baristas always have a smile on their faces and are happy to explain to you the characteristics of their different brewing methods, roasts, or drinks. They’ll go out of their way to help you, even during their busy periods. When I stopped in there a couple of days ago for coffee and breakfast on the way to work, the barista was happy to explain to me the two different blends they had on drip and give a suggested on a breakfast pastry. The pastries(in this case, a bagel with CC) are good but not great. I mostly go here for the consistent service, the good cause, and the nice atmosphere conducive to doing work. Pros: Baristas and the cause Cons: Pastries could use a little work and they’re a little expensive Overall: Even with the opening of Just Love, I think this is the best coffee shop in Brentwood. They have so many creative options and ways to get your coffee and are always super accommodating to any requests you may have.

Damn good coffee that gives you happy buzz in more ways than one. The Well is a non-profit coffeehouse that exist to make money and then give it away through a network of organizations like Thistle Farms, Blood: Water Mission, Living Water Project and OneLess to name just a few. The atmosphere is inviting and there are plenty of tables/spaces for working on your laptop, catching up with friends, or even listing to some live music while sipping on your favorite brewed coffee or tea. The offerings are unique and the baristas are not lighting fast so be prepared to wait a few minutes. Quick tip– the parking out front can be awful, but there’s a big parking garage directly behind the building.

Mostly I love this place. I like the ambiance, the wifi is free, and there are a lot of great coffee options. It is a bit pricey, the way a lot of hipster-ish coffee joints are. I had a couple of delicious lattes here, and got some work done every morning the week I was here, thanks to the wifi. The cold brew is $ 5 for a rather small cup, but I’m usually willing to spend that much on a great cold brew, so I went for it. Unfortunately I ended up not being able to tell if it was great or not. I asked if there was milk out and was told yes and pointed towards the cream and sugar station, but he must have meant there is cream. I would prefer if they kept milk out as well, not just cream. The baristas were busy(and not super fast) so I didn’t want to go wait to ask for milk and just used the cream. That was a mistake, as it turned out the cream was starting to turn. I was home before I realized I had a sour cup of cold brew, and ended up tossing it. Should have asked for the milk! I’m not going to hold that against them, and will assume the cold brew is as tasty as their espresso and the Guatemalan pourover I had.

I love this place. As a coffee shop, it’s got a great atmosphere — bright and inviting with super friendly staff. The drinks are yummy and reasonably priced. Lots of people working on their laptops. But more than that, I love that it’s non-profit and supports great causes. I love the Wishing Wall where you can post requests. I love the products for sale that support small businesses or charities. This is just the type of place I like to support. I will be back often =)

This is a great coffee shop. It’s not a place where I get the same thing each time I’m there because it seems like they change the menu around often. I have never had food here before but it looks great. Legacy Building made all of the tables for the location. They look awesome and fit in perfectly with the décor. There are only a few spots to park in up front but don’t let it deter you. The parking garage behind the building has plenty of parking and is a very short walk away.

When the Well first started up as a coffee shop in an old Burger King building in the mall neighborhood, Green Hills, I was a huge fan. A coffee business with an emphasis on impacting the lives of others for the better? Sounds like a great non-profit to me! However, the Old Hickory location, located within a strip mall, is nothing short of greatness. It’s a beautiful, inviting space, despite being in a row of other shops. Parking is a huge challenge during peak hours, but there is a garage behind the building. Things that I don’t do here include getting food or speciality coffee mixes. They either seem plain, or perhaps interesting, but alas, I am not a fan of mixed coffee drinks(usually). I go here for the various brewing methods, maybe a pastry, and oh yeah, delicious coffee! My favorite is most definitely a Kenyan organic bean with notes of dark chocolate and lavender, made via the siphon method(Google it, it is pretty legit). The space is vast and open; a great spot to meet with friends and catch up on life and sip on some coffee gold. They are involved in some awesome non-profit work as well, including well building for clean water in places where it is not accessible.
