We hired John for my daughters 8 year old party and he was amazing!!! He entertained 30+ kids (ages 2 – 9) and 20+ adults (ages 30 – 70) with his magic tricks. He involved the kids in his tricks, had the whole crowd laughing at his jokes and mesmerized with his tricks. He then stayed afterwards to make a balloon animal for each kid! He also provided each kid with a party favor to bring home. Many adults came up to ask where I found him and wanted to book them for their future events. He was definitely the highlight of the party!!!
He was very professional and showed up early enough to make sure he had enough time to set up for the show.
Thanks, John for making my 8 year old daughters birthday so memorable!

This show was spectacular! He kept a group of 30+ kids ages 6 and under entertained with magic and balloons for an hour. He went over and above to make sure everyone went home with their personal balloon!

I had the pleasure of seeing John Gardenier’s act at the California Magic Theater in Martinez. As for the locale, it was great. Small intimate setting and pretty good food.
As for John Gardenier’s performance. It was great. He does not just walk up on stage and do tricks. He not only performs his tricks but also gets the crowd involved and throws some subtle jokes to get everyone going. John interacts great with the crowd.
I’m told he has a variety of acts (adults/​children). If you decide to hire him for an act whether its private party or corporate gig I highly doubt you’ll be dissapointed.
