This was the worst experience I have ever had with any business. My daughter bought me a package for Mother’s Day. It took almost a month to get a call back from the owner who did not want to honor the spa package. She had a bad attitude and made it very difficult for me to schedule an appointment and when I went for the appointment she complained that she did not get paid enough for the advertised package and was not happy. I felt bad from the time I interacted with the owner. The last appointment I was in the parking lot and she called me to reschedule because she had an appointment with another customer. It took me over an hour to drive there. This was such a negative experience. I asked the owner to refund the money to my daughter and she never did. This entire situation was terrible from the start. It made my daughter’s gift a very unpleasant and negative, and time consuming experience. I would not recommend this business to anyone. Don’t waste your money or time.

I purchased a Groupon deal with Paradise Holistic Health Center. I looked at the website to see what I could find about them before I purchased the Groupon. The staff appeared to be highly educated, so I felt I would receive a good massage. There were many things that I’d wish to comment on, but I don’t want to be too hard on a fellow Therapist. However, there is some basic information that needs to be said. My Therapist was Dr. Zahra Bolandbala, Ph. D, HHP, CCHT, MBA, HCA, LSSBB. That is a number of impressive acronyms after her name. I can only comment on the massage she provided to me. First and foremost, Zahara — YOUABSOLUTELYNEEDTOCUTYOURFINGERNAILS, very, very short!!! If that does not appeal to your sense of style, then you need to put Massage Therapy aside. Therapists are taught in the very beginning of school, that even tiny nails can be felt by the massage recipient, and hers were relatively long, beyond the tops of her fingers. She is well aware that the length of her fingernails is not acceptable. I felt scratched — in not a good way, throughout the entire massage. Secondly, she needed to warm the lotion/oil in her hands before applying. Cold lotion/oil feels horrible. There are several other things I could comment on, but again, I don’t want to trash another Therapist. In the end, I did feel better after the massage, which is why I’m giving a two star rating. The salon is a typical day spa kind of venue, nothing special, but day spas have their own place and value. They do not list their prices on their website, but Groupon listed their original price as $ 119 for a hot stone, Swedish, or deep tissue massage(the Groupon price was $ 49). For a day spa, that is far too high. That’s a price for a high-end spa, where you have all the amenities, not a day spa. I will not go back, for the reasons above, other reasons not stated, and for the price.
