I’m so bummed this place has closed down… Drove all the way here just to find out. Writing this review outside the vacant location

This place is a must try. The chefs are very friendly and listen to your orders very well. You can watch the food be made right in front of you.

There is a place in Chico, CA called Hula’s which I love but I have failed to find anything like it here in the Bay Area. This place is the closest substitute for my beloved Hula’s…it is like the younger brother of Hula’s as it isn’t as DIY as Hula’s and there isn’t as big of a selection. All of that being said, whenever I’m in the area, I stop here for my Oodles of Noodles. I get the noodles with beef and pile on some veggies, tofu, and choose a sauce that comes back to bite my in the ass later. But the meal tastes so good, that I just deal with ramifications. Also, it is quite affordable. For me, the meal provides me with leftovers. For my boyfriend, he usually finishes it all there. I only took a star off because I wish there was more of a selection and that the meats were part of the DIY part so you can more easily chose a combination of meats. But I’m not mad at it. it really is delicious, affordable, and the service has been pretty fast. Be sure to stop by here sometime!

I’ll probably never eat there again. It was dirty and the food was not that great. Too salty for my taste.

Good food. Descent selection of items to make your combination of food. Chicken and steak are real meat not just shavings of meat that waste away while your cooking. Will try a different combo next time.

Grabbed the chicken with yam noodles to go for lunch today. The enployees that helped me were very polite and friendly. The food turned out great, like normal. Great place to grab a bite to eat if your in a hurry.

Went today for lunch with hubby and one of our sons. I had the noodles with beef and hubby had brown rice with beef. We both loaded our bowls with fresh veggies, picked our sauce and waited for it to be cooked. There was only 1 person working and you can tell he was a little stressed. It was busy and the other person was late or a no show. It did take longer than expected, but we weren’t in a hurry for once. The food was piping hot and very good. We mentioned there how we hadn’t been since they opened in 2010. I can’t believe it!

I come here every once in a while and the last time was very disappointing. The veggies were almost empty and there was absolutely no onion. I feel that onion is much needed for this type of food. I asked if they had any and they just said no. They are in the same parking lot as a grocery market. How hard is it to go to the store to get some necessary ingredients? Ive seen people from starbucks go to the store and clean the shelf of milk because they ran out. Thats how a business is ran. Making the customers happy. My food that day was very bland and was not happy.

Thank you thank you thank you for carrying yam noodles!!! I was very impressed with this place, and their chef was so sweet accomodating my special dietary request. I told him that I did not want any sugar, so I went with the sesame garlic oil and soy sauce. I plan to visit more often, It feels like your eating bad without the guilt.

Nice enough staff. Food good but a little heavy on the sauces. I will be back for sure, maybe will just be more specific about the sweetening. I’m tempted to give 4 stars except that the styrofoam cups & plates just drive me nuts. In a sea of mediocre food choices, this place could be a mainstay for me but the disposable dinnerware is not cool. The yam noodles are really good. It’s not easy to find good veggie food out here in the plains.

We’ve been dropping by this place every now and then, for years now. The guys there are always so nice. The noodles are cooked and served quickly. There’s a ton of vegetable choices and you always get a lot of food for your money. The sauces they cook the noodles with are delicious. I highly recommend asking them to mix the hot and sour with the garlic seseme. It’s amazing.

I prefer the chow fun noodles I tried them last night and they were much better then the regular noodles they offer. I just wish they used more sauce I can never taste it and have to go get packs of sweet and sour sauce to give it a little more flavor.

As advertised. Big portions, nice staff, unexceptional but palatable food. Kidd liked it, so we’d go back.

I love this place, and would have 5 stars if they just had a bit more veggie options & bigger bowls. The employees are awesome and personable, the food is fresh and it’s prepared quickly. The place has always been clean. I have a food allergy and every time they have cleaned the grill thoroughly before tossing my food on. They even have gluten free!!! WIN! Try it… it’s good & reasonably priced!

I JUSTOODLEDMYNOODLE. Okay, this place was AWESOME. It was all fresh, not too long of a wait, and great flavor. It was $ 20, for 2 plates with double meat and a drink. We enjoyed it. The restaurant was nice and comfortable inside. The restrooms were clean. The cashier was nice, and the cool Kyle, was nice and made the food EXACTLY to request, I kept adding more and more and he made it just perfect. I mixed spicy Mongolian with sesame garlic and teriyaki, with shrimp chicken and noodles. My husbands was the same but not spicy, and beef not shrimp. Both so good ! Thank you! We will be back!!!

UPDATE! Still very much a fan… Came in again for lunch. This visit I had the Pork bowl with the Yam Noodles. I wanted Chow Fun, but they were out. We must have missed a huge lunch rush because a few of the veggie servers were quite empty. Not completely, I was still able to get all the veggies I wanted, but it would have been nice if they could have filled them up a little bit more. I also ordered a lemonade and they were nice enough to tell me that their lemonade is tasting & smelling funny, like root beer! HA! To hear that it actually made me laugh… I saw one of the usual chefs there and he was kind of laughing & explaining it to me too… He’s a really cool guy! Tall guy with a beard… My food was cooked well. I didn’t find my pork to be dry at all… I usually get their spicy house sauce & add some jalapenos, so when it comes to the taste/flavor, I think their house sauce has great flavor & heat! I still need to try their brown/white rice options. Eat it… Love it… Unilocal it!!!

I’m not a huge fan of greasy asian food, but I came in because I’ve always driven by the sign on the street & giggled at the name. I’m really glad I stopped in here, they have a small menu, but perfect for a veggie or a meat eater! They had yam noodles, which are zero calories & zero carbs(yet they’re delicious!!), they also had gluten free noodles, brown rice, white rice, etc. So I got half yam noodles & half brown rice. You get a bowl & pike your veggies in there, my bowl looked like a mountain/jenga sculpture because I LOVE veggies. They had the regular standard veggies, but also stuff like bok choy & water chestnuts! So after i created my Mount Veggiemore, I gave my bowl to the dude & he puts it on the grill & cooks it all up for me, I added the Mongolian sauce & the garlic sauce. It took about 5min to cook up, and I was out the door! They’re AWESOME for having siracha garlic chili sauce in to go packets, along with soy sauce. The food was really good, and nice to be able to have vegan, gluten free options available in a small town like Brentwood!
