One of the many items on my Christmas list this year was from a specific brand, Cookies, which is unusual to find in Brentwood area. This Mainland store carried the newest cookies jacket. The Second I walked in I was greeted by both jeese and Frankie who were both informative and helpful my entire visit. This is my new go to spot for my son’s gifts.

Love this store, they have a lot of cool stuff in here, for guys! The girl selection is really lacking & the skate shoes are all hipster type skinny jeans Vans style shoes. What happened to DVS, DC& Etnies? The selection has gone downhill, but at least the sunglasses & customer service is still really good!

Came in here one night with two of my guy friends because they wanted to look at the skateboards and sweatshirts. They were genuinely interested in purchasing something. There were two people at the cashier unit, which is in the middle of the store. A girl looked right at us, frowned, and then went back to work. The person she was with looked at us and then quickly went back to work. We went inside completely not acknowledged. My friends needed help because they were looking for a specific style so we headed to the back to check out the skateboards. There were 3 people in the back. None of them said hello or even acknowledged us and two of them didn’t even look like they belonged back there. Like, they were friends of the employees and the manager wasn’t there so ‘let’s party with the equipment’ kind of vibe. I asked my friend, «Maybe they expect us to ask for help?» So my friend went up to one of the 3 people and said, «I need some help with…» I didn’t hear the rest of what he said because the 3 people started to laugh and one of them said callously, «We don’t work here man, ask up front!» and pointed to the cashier unit. My friend looked exasperated. «Let’s just go. This is bullshit.» So we headed out the door and just as we opened the door the cashier woman said, «You guys looking for anything? Need any help?» Yes. Because the correct time to ask someone if they need help is when they’re two feet out the door. No thank you. And the manager better keep a better eye on the employee’s friends. That was just so unprofessional and ridiculous.

One of the best retail store to pick some of the latest street wear /urban brands. Brand range from Diamond, RVCA, The Hundreds, OBEY, Nike SB, VANs, Connetic, LRG, etc. It’s a one stop shop and great customer service. They also have tons of more stuff on their website.

Oh geez, haven’t we saturated this market enough? I remember when I was in HS, the skaters were just there and really didn’t care about fashion. I guess with the advent of notables like Shaun White and Tony Hawk it’s more IN to look good. Don’t ask me how I know those names either. This store has what the skater/snowboarder/etc want. Nuff said.
