Wow, such poor reviews for this place when I, and my family have always had very enjoyable meals here. I meet my parents here once or twice a year because Brenham is between where they live and my home in Houston. The most recent visit was last weekend and we were a party of 9. Everyone enjoyed their meals and the wait staff took good care of us. I went for the combo of fried catfish, 6 shrimp, and 6 oysters. Great fish, great shrimp, great oysters! We have been here about 10 times so far and will keep coming back. I haven’t had a steak here so I can’t comment. I eat here for the seafood.

Got there with 1 hour to closing and one other couple was in the building. The service was horrible and the waitress (with the exception of one) were all busy laughing and carrying on in the front. It was so loud and inappropriate that I wanted to leave. It was obvious that management had the night off (no other explanation of the inappropriate behavior of the staff) The food was not bad but with the amount of items on the menu it was sure to be Frozen before it was dropped in the geese. If your up for FROZEN this is your place. NOT ME. Will not be back

Out of oysters on half shelf. Out of t-​bones. We had calamari as app. Husband had salad with Ranch and I had coleslaw — both terrible.
Husband had fried Crawfish Tails and fries. I had soft-​shell crab but waitress did not know the difference between stuffed crab and soft-​shell crab so there was a bit of confusion with the order.
Food was nothing special. Wait staff, with the exception of one waitress, were all in the back laughing and screaming at the top of their lungs. We could not get a glass of water until the other waitress, not ours, came by and took empty plates and brought water.
First weekend away from home alone with my husband since my mother’s death in December and my husband is now violently ill with diarrhea and vomiting. We can only assume it is food poisoning since it came on within 2 hours of dinning at this establishment. THANKS!
Calling Health Department first thing Monday morning! I would not recommend ever eating at this establishment.

Had lunch here today because my host routinely eats here. The food was very reasonably priced with a variety of items for people who either don’t like seafood or can’t eat it. I ordered the 6 fried shrimp with salad and fries. The batter was surprisingly light and somewhat sweet. The shrimp were somewhat smaller than I expected but good. My only complaint was the fact we waited a very long time for our food while others who came in after us got theirs. The hostess/​server was so busy that we had to hunt her down to pay the bill. Not bad, though, for a reasonably priced lunch in this growing town!

Per a friend’s recommendation we visited today for dinner around 7pm. The staff was friendly, attentive, and overall service was great. The atmosphere was comfortable and casual. I’m not sure how many customers this place will hold at one time but it is large. It was no way crowded.
We ordered fried catfish, oysters, scallops, and large shrimp. It came with seasoned fries, salad or coleslaw. I prefer a cornmeal crust on catfish but the batter used was light. The food was of great quality and quantity per serving size. We compared it to another restaurant in town called Sealand and preferred Texas Seafood better. Being originally from the Dallas area with every kind of restaurant on earth accessible. lol…it was nice to finally find one here that was worth the money spent. It is a «go to» seafood place for us now.
