Very good comfort food. Clean and friendly atmosphere. Crispy salads, aromatic soups, 2 different kinds of meat prepared each day, a wide selection of Southern side dishes, followed by yummy desserts. Today they had fried catfish and roast beef, fresh mashed potatoes and 2 kinds of gravy, okra, onion rings, green beans, mixed veggies, corn, delicious hominy with peppers, cornbread, rolls, hush puppies, other side dishes that leaked out of my brain, peach cobbler, berry cobbler and coconut cake. Beverages are included. The people are very nice, and purchases at the restaurant and attached gift shop help support area homeless with shelter, food and job training. Not only do you get a delicious meal, but your purchase helps other people. My husband and I left happy, full as pregnant yaks, and content for only $ 17. If it were possible to eat your way to heaven(which it isn’t), I’d happily start here. Good eats and good deeds!
