This is a single-​chair salon for kids. It is in a converted house on the corner and there is no signage. Only a small «open» sign in the window, and «Hairworks» on the door: not visible until up close. The very nice lady has been in a business there for many years and seems to have loyal regulars. She was fast and gentle with my toddler, and gave a great haircut. The waiting area has an abundance of toys but it sounds like you will seldom have to wait long enough to really get some play time. The prices are VERY reasonable. $ 10 for a kid’s cut. No credit cards. We’ll be back.

I am 30 years old and I got my hair cuts here as a kid. I brought my son for his first hair cut 8 years ago and now I’ve come from Illinois and am excited to bring my two daughters in for their first hair cuts. I only wish we lived closer so they could get every hair cut here. It is so fast and easy. Excellent for first timers or squirmy tots.

Today we rook My 13 month for his first hair cut. She did amazing. She was fast and was very nice. She saved his hair for us and gave us a first haircut certificate. He loved the play area and enjoyed his very first haircut

I took my 14 month old son in to get his first haircut. We had no appointment but were helped right away. Donna was so friendly! She directed me on how to help keep him from tearing the smock off while she tended to his hair. Being a one year old, he wiggles and cried a little, but she got him finished in under 5 minutes and he looks great! She also gave us a certificate, saved his hair clippings in an envelope for me to take home, and he got a sucker out of the deal! I would highly recommend Hairworks for Kids!
