Cedar Products

What a joke!!! Two weeks ago i made a purchace of cedar boards for inside trim. The yard worker was friendly, and let us pick out some nice wood. Two weeks latter I show up to purchace the same wood, and a different yard worker informs me that I need to take half of the wood I sort. Most of the boards had huge cracks, or insect trails. I am not going to take half of what wood i would never buy!!! Now i have half of my house remodel done, and, i have to find a new wood distributor. He informed me that the first yard worker was a rookie, the first yard worker told me he had worked for, over three years!!! So, they are not honest, and have junk wood. The price looks good, but you wont be able to use half it. Expensive fire wood if you ask me! One star because i have to!

This is the absolutely BEST place anywhere in Kitsap county to get cedar products. Just as an example I went to Kitsap Lumber the other day to get some standard 8″ cedar lap siding (I won’t go into that fiasco) for six 10′ boards AND six 8′ boards Kitsap lumber wanted over $ 135 I went to Cedar Products Company that same night and paid under $ 55 for the exact same thing. That’s $ 80 I saved $ 80.
I’ve been purchasing my cedar here for fences and siding for over 10 years and their prices have NEVER been beat. The staff is knowledgeable, helpful and nice. Seriously, drive the extra 15 minutes from one of the other lumber stores and save big, its worth the time.
