This place should not even receive one star. it should get negative stars. I can’t complain more about our year stay at these apartments. Our first 1 bedroom apt was okay and didn’t have to many problems besides slight mold.disgusting. then we moved into one of their 2 bedroom apartments and within 2 weeks we had mold growing in our fridge, on our carpet and all along the ceiling in both bedrooms and near kitchen.nasty. meanwhile the management did NOT want too move us at all and refused for weeks. Then after complaining enough of it not being safe to our health, they finally moved us. our second bedroom apartment they moved us into started fine then within 3 weeks started to find bites all over us. We did some research and came to the bed bug conclusion. started to complain about bites everyday then after a month of complaining and being bitten, we have had our apt sprayed once. After being lied to that no one else had this problem, we found out that 2 others have the same problem in this building. talk about a lying management team. continuing to get bitten to this day, we try to break the lease and we can’t because they charge until the apartment is rented out. so, who wants to come rent out our bed bug infested apartment complex? no? didn’t think so. I lived here for 3 years & you know no idea how much I miss it. It was quiet, peaceful & close to everything(such as shopping, Olympic College, ETC). The rent for a 1 bed 1 bath was 655 $ & to be honest, our room was pretty big! The front deck was quiet large & since we had trees outside, I loved the privacy. Grilling outside was wonderful too. The only thing I didn’t really like was the walls were a little thin. Not too thin where I could hear a lot, but occasionally I could hear neighbors. The maintenance man was the most friendliest guy I have ever met & he always came on time. He was always polite & knocked every time. On one occasion, my husband & I were not home & my dog wouldn’t let him in so he left a silly note saying my dog wouldn’t let him in & scheduled another time to come in! The apartments are well hidden & there are never any problems. The majority of people that live here are shipyard workers and Navy folk. All the neighbors I’ve met were nice and courteous. If you listen real closely at 8AM Mon-Fri, you can hear Colors! I think this place is great for people that wake up early and sleep at night such as if you work at the shipyard or if you’re active duty(I was a full-time student at Olympic College). Another reason I think this is a good place for morning people is because Bayview likes to keep their grounds looking nice. Knowing Washington & it’s crazy weather, Bayview hires leaf blowers, tree cutteres, roof cleaners & so forth & you can hear it quiet well for a few hours. Of course the really loud stuff like roof & patio cleaners, they leave notes on doors letting you know what time & what day it will happen. There are two managers. The main manager seems to have an attitude, but I think that’s just the way she is. She is professional & a great manager. The other manager is new & she is very friendly. Both managers are on top of everything & both show quality professionalism. If I ever move back to Bremerton, I would love to live here again. They accept money orders & checks. & they accept dogs & cats!!!
