Bamboo

I have been there twice and have enjoyed it both times. I will fully admit that I don’t know a lot about Filipino food, all I know is that I love chicken adobo. But I do like to try new things so I actually have not had chicken adobo here, lol. The last time I was here I ordered the 2 dish combo. I had the lady describe what dishes they had available and chose a sour soup w/​pork (I have forgotten the actual name of the dish) and lumpia for my choices. My dining companion got a sausage dish and lumpia. The meals came w/​rice as well. Everything was delicious! The food was piping hot and yummy. And the prices were reasonable. All in all, a great meal was had.

All of the foods were not cold, set at a comfortable setting. They were very nice and gave me a generous amount of food. I had it for lunch today at work and I do wish I requested more rice but it was all absolutely amazing. The sinigang in other places, if not homemade are usually watered down and I was surprised to find it was not at all watered down, it met some great expectations. The sweet and spicy chicken had a perfect spice to it and I hate spicy foods. Good amount of food, the place looked very nice and clean and very generous also friendly people. I would definitely go there again.

I feel really bad to have to revise my rating. I have been there 3 times since I wrote my initial review. All three times the food on the buffet line was cold, even cold enough to have been in the refer possibly. The first time this happened I told the woman behind the counter that foods that should be served a lot warmer is cold. She checked the setting on the chaffing dishes, and increased the temperature, but I didn’t get sick, so no harm no foul. I went back again, same thing, but I didn’t eat much, stayed away from chicken and pork and ate only what was obviously hot. I went back just to be sure it wasn’t a fluke, and sure enough the food was cold AGAIN! I looked at the temperatures and they were set on medium temp. There was steam only coming out of one dish. I decided I would not come back, it wasn’t worth getting sick eating cold chicken and pork. It’s too bad, because I think it could have been a pretty good thing. SORRY, I just can’t see risking getting sick.

This place is clean and has huge space inside. Divided into two, one is for karaōke (different schedule) which has a 100 or so sitting capacities. The most important thing for me is how the food tasted like. Well its amazing. It brings back the filipino side of me. Adobo, Dinuguan, Lechon Kawali or if you are looking for Telapia… Check it out!
