This was a backup campground because Potato Creek State Park campground was full and it was a very good backup. It’s mostly an RV park, which is a pretty much what you would expect of RV folks, but the primitive camping was very good. We were back out by the woods pretty much by ourselves and it was nice and quiet. The ladies at the main house by the lake were very friendly. There is also a very fun looking dive platform off the swim in beach area — 3 levels of diving boards that looked like a blast even though we just stuck our feet in the water. They also have horse shoe pits, horse shoes included, a small basketball area and the main pavilion had a few video games and two pool tables.

I am only giving this place 5 stars because I love it! I have been camping their with my family my whole life.(24 yrs) We just started going again last summer. Now its the second generation going! Its so great! I read Patty’s review yesterday and there is no way I can top that! She describes this place to a T! She is so right on about everything, from the bathrooms to the«Leather Face» Old ladies! This campground as been a part of my life since I was a baby! As crappy as it maybe its still where I spent every summer of my childhood! Check it out some time!
