Walked in late and ordered a pulled pork sandwich with onion rings. I was pleasantly surprised by the interior as the building is a metal building. Inside looks great with lots of wood, a long sit at bar (dry county though), and lots of tables and booths. Very good environment. They also have outside seating.
The bbq sandwich was outstanding! Moist and flavorful meat. I had slaw put on mine and it added some great contrast to the bbq. Sause was flavorful and did not take over the sandwich. I will be back for the bbq.
I am an onion ring snob so I was disappointed with the frozen onion rings. They were good but I like homemade. Jim and nicks has spoiled me.
It was late so I did not get to see the staff under pressure but they were very nice.
Overall, liked the food and will be back!
Wish these guys luck as is it tough at the lake with the seasonal business and no alcohol sales. Need the locals!

Great restaurant and awesome customer service. Sauces are amazing. Haven’s yella sauce is AMAZING. Burger was delicious. BBQ sandwich was really good. Perfect spot while going to or from the lake or while you’re at the lake. We will definitely come back. Service was great. Owner cares about his patrons.

Catfish, Mac n cheese, onion rings and lemon icebox pie was great! Everyone was really friendly and place was very clean. We will go back!

Fly, Dry and lukewarm summarize this dining experience. Considering I was starving and looking forward to this, at best the food is mediocre. Fly hovering our food, no moisture of freshness from the pulled pork and the mac and cheese microwaved cannot hide that it’s been sitting there all day. The sauces named after the owners daughters is a great idea if the quality of the sauce can live up to expectations but it didn’t. The hot sauce for example had too much of a consistency as if the flour or cornstarch substance that they put in did not blend well so it had a grainy hot taste. The saving grace, great service from our forever cheerful server. I will not come back though.

Friendly family-​run country barbecue restaurant. Be sure to try the corn nuggets. Burgers and barbecue sandwiches are great but the D-​roo burger is epic.
