This is a pretty small library, and there is almost no reason whatsoever to visit it unless you live in Bremen itself. It’s basically a 1-room library, and the book selection is so small it makes browsing basically obsolete. All of this should be expected, of course, considering Bremen is so small a town it refers to itself as a village. There isn’t stop light in the town itself, and the only indication that you are passing through the place is the decreased speed limit. All things considered, the library is a perfectly suitable one for this quaint little place. There is one thing the Bremen library has going for it, besides the super nice librarians. It is a branch of the Fairfield County library system consisting of 5 libraries, which in turn are a part of the Ohio library consortium, which is a conglomeration of a huge number of libraries all over Ohio. You can request a book from any of these libraries and have them sent to Bremen, which is a pretty awesome feature, especially if you live here. As a bibliophile I love any and all libraries and can spend hours in any of them, browsing about endlessly with a stupid grin on my face. With that said, this is definitely a bare-bones, small town library that will mostly be used exclusively by the people who live around it. Thankfully, with the interlibrary loan system, they will not want for books!
