Great burgers, great onion rings. Can be very crowded but a great place to enjoy a variety of yummy burgers.

Best burgers in America, which means the best in the world… because no one but Americans do burgers and fries right. Always packed, always a wait, always worth it.

Ok. Nothing to write home about. I’ll never understand burgers with thin meat patty. They’re never juicy. Fries not bad. Dipping sauces overrated and overhyped. Might return. Maybe.

The burgers are tasty but the space can get overwhelming quickly. We sat at the group table in the middle of the restaurant between tables and the bar and it is a very tight space. It’s probably a much better experience on a slow weekday or off season. I have to say the food comes out very quickly and the staff do find time to check on you as much as they can with all that they have going on.

This place is delicious, fast, and reasonably priced. The only complaint I have is the communal table in the middle is a little tight… actually, everything is a little tight on the space. The menu states each burger is cooked to medium unless otherwise ordered. I ordered mine well done, and it was out so quick, I was sceptical… so I cut out in half and, sure enough, no pink! The guac on the guacamole bacon burger has a lovely, bright lime flavor, the fries are wonderfully potaoe-y, the sriracha mayo sauce has scallion bits that take the dipping sauce up a notch. We were in, out with full bellies and happy taste buds before we knew it(without feeling rushed).

Hands down one of the best burgers I’ve had in a really long time. Nothing else to it. Super delicious. Waitress was a little rude, but I will give it 5 stars for the burger.

This place was amazing! Our group of four people were looking to grab a bite to eat some what quick on a Saturday night. Found this place online. We walked in and it was PACKED! I noticed that some group was getting up from the bar so we rushed over there. We got quick service at the bar where we were able to order from the whole menu. Jew in mind that we were there for the Uller Festival. We got our food with in 15 mins of ordering it. All I can say is get the onion rings as your side! They were amazing and I’m glad that my boyfriend got them for his side. I ended up only eating a couple of my fries. I would go there every day if I could so I could try all of their burgers.

Wow! First meal in Breck and I was pleased! This is a wonderful burger joint full of character and menu options. Almost everyone I know has recommended this spot and it was time to give it a try. The establishment is located on the corner of Main street. Parking spot is behind, but it was a little challenging given the specific neighborhood. Clean and nice atmosphere. This is a good spot for quick lunch and dinner or hanging out with friends. They have a menu full of options ranging from Chicken, Vegetarian, Burgers, and other items. The burger was definitely fresh off the grill and was made to my exact request(no pickles). The burgers were huge! They cooked really fast. Everything went fast. We waited only 5 minutes. My fiancé had their bacon cheeseburger and he loved it. My favorite was their buns. They were soft and sweet. The fries was also fresh and crispy. They were seasoned very well. Price is reasonable. Service is phenomenon. Will definitely have it again the next time I’m in the area.

Probably the best place to eat in all of Breck. I had a great buffalo burger as well as the cobb salad. The wait is really short, compared to many of the other establishments in the area. The best part was the root beer that was so cold, as soon as you cracked it open you got a nice little slushy top. What did I learn today? The guy sitting at the bar next to me was walking from Denver to Aspen, or something like that.

I loved my burger and so did the others in my party. Huge selection of beef. There always seems to be a line but it moves fairly quick. There is a bar but they seem to want you to eat at the bar and not wait there for a table. Great fries and onion rings with plenty of dipping sauces to choose from. Everything was served hot. Good service and cold beer.

So here you are, in Breckenridge, and you’re dreading the thought of sitting down and forking over both your leg and first born in exchange for a mediocre portion of mediocre food dished up by someone not from Breckenridge who is sick and tired of seeing tourists from out of state. May your fears leave you! For Empire Burger is here to rescue you with good food at affordable prices from friendly people. Star 1: How were the service and atmosphere? Contrary to what you can commonly find elsewhere in mountain towns during high season, the service and atmosphere at Empire Burger are great. Whether you’re in for a post-mountain bite or a Broncos game, you’ll find a mix of tourist and local alike cranking out burgers in good time. Star Granted. Star 2: How were the portions relative to the cost? Empire could really gouge folks for good burgers and the peripherals, but they don’t, which is a nice change of pace. My pictured cheeseburger and fries ran only $ 8.25, which was a steal given the quantity and quality here, and the rest of the menu was priced accordingly. Star Granted. Stars 3 and 4: How was the food? This was a solid burger, which is surprisingly difficult to find here in Breck. The bun was buttery and proportionate to the patty, which was of good size and had good flavor. The toppings, which consisted of lettuce, onion, mayo, and some mustard, came together nicely and paired well with the side of pretty good fries. Dual Stars Granted. Star 5: Would you eat here every day if you could? This is a close one, but with some other great options in Breck(once you sift through all of the overpriced nonsense), I can’t say with confidence that Empire would be my daily spot if I lived here. No Star Granted.

I’ve got one word for Empire Burger — Sauce. Sauce sauce sauce. Yum. The sauces here are freaking incredible! It adds to the experience when ordering fries and a burger. I’ve tried a lot of sauce in my day, and I rank the Empire Burger sauces in the following order of awesomeness: 1.) Sweet Mango Chutney — just do it and don’t look back. This is the best sauce, hands down. 2.) Jalapeño Ranch — love the combination on this one… delishhhh in my mouth. 3.) Mexican Ketchup — this goes great with those tasty fries. 4.) Honey Mustard — I always love me some mustard with my honey, and Empire Burger whips up a great batch of it. That’s my top 4 selection. Go try it, your taste buds will appreciate it.

YUM! I like to say that I’m a saucy person. I had the basic bacon cheeseburger with a small side of fries. As for my sauce side, I got two Sweet Mango Chutney. The chutney is not like original chutneys where it is similar to jam, it was more as I like to call it, Americanized. It was sweet, but not too sweet. You could really taste the mango. I could go on and on about how much I loved it. The burger was great and the bacon was fried to perfection. The fries were hand cut and lightly salted to perfection. Overall, I highly recommend stopping in if you’re in Breck! It’s a cute and cozy restaurant near the end of Main St. It will cure your burger cravings and their specialty sauces will take your burger and fries to a whole new level. I’ll definitely be back. P. s. If anyone knows the recipe for their sweet mango chutney, please pass it along…

So good! Still dreaming about this burger that was perfectly cooked, generously sized and über flavorful! Love the variety of cheeses, toppings, etc that you can choose from at Empire. Each of us ordered drastically different burgers, ranging from pain to jalapeño cheddar pied high with fixings. The onion rings and fries are both to die for, and if you can’t decide, you can order them together. Cue the food coma. Mmmmm…
