Visions Lighting

Visions Lighting owners, Todd & Kelly Roberts are incredibly kind and generous. There crew is courteous and professional. Our school had the privilege of working with them and they donated the trailer that converted into a stage that accommodated our band, choir and orchestra. The lighting on the stage offered ample lighting! The event was truly a success for this reason. Visions Lighting is phenomenal!

Creating the right atmosphere is critical when you are trying to host a fundraiser. Your guests need to feel special and generous! For me, the perfect atmosphere is a combination of venue, food and décor. And no décor is complete without special lighting!
Since this event was thrown by the non-​profit organization that I am a apart of, we are what I fondly call «ballers on a budget.» However, Kelly Roberts of Visions Lighting came to the rescue and generously offered to help us create the perfect atmosphere. She attended our walk through at the Nixon Library prior to the event to discuss our layout and lighting needs. On the day of the event, her team arrived well ahead of time. It was pretty awesome pulling into the parking lot to see all of the light fixtures and crew, ready to go even before we were ready.
The team from Visions Lighting was very professional and accommodating. They had to work around our volunteers and move their light fixtures to flow with our silent auction tables. They always smiled and made comments like «no problem» and «you guys are doing great!» Thanks for the encouragement VL! Before I knew it, the lighting was done. It literally took my breath away!
Needless to say, our event was a huge success and our guests couldn’t stop raving about how beautiful the gala was, especially the flowers and lighting. Check out my photos to see the uplights in the hallway and the art deco lighting design on the ceiling by VL. So very fitting for our Great Gatsby Gala.
I’m so honored to have had the pleasure of working with VL, who was part and parcel of our success in surpassing our fundraising goal. Yay! :)
