The Sugared Belle

Followed Brianna from when she worked at Downtown Sugar in Santa Ana — she is my go-​to girl! Always has appointments and gets you in and out quickly. Totally worth the money, prices are pretty average for sugaring.

I just got back from my appointment with Brianna, she was wonderful! I was really happy with the experience, she was so friendly and professional! I got my eyebrows done with her.
The salon is really nice and relaxing and everything looks very clean.
She explained everything that she was doing as she did it. The sugaring itself was nice, much better than waxing.
I was really happy with the shape of my eyebrows and will definitely be going back!

Saw Brianna for the first time today. She was sweet, professional and made me feel at ease. It was my first time and of course I was nervous. It’s not painless but very much worth every cent. I already scheduled my next appointment! :)

So much better than traditional waxing and not to mention how professional and meticulous Brianna is! She is also very fun and easy to talk to. I wish I wouldve found this place before I moved away to Chicago! I wouldve def became a regular here. Even if you arent down for brazilian, come in to get your eyebrows sugared! She did such an amazing job at reshaping my eyebrows to frame my face perfectly. I wish I could go back to get it done again.

I finally took the plunge and decided to get a Brazilian. Brianna was very professional and talked me through the process. I’m very happy I decided to get one! Initially I was nervous but she put me at ease right away. I highly recommend Brianna.

There’s no need for a long drawn out review. Brianna is above and beyond awesome. She is the whole package; professional, shows excellent customer service and care, and her technique is fantastic. No more traditional waxing for me. Sugaring is the way to go.

I just came back from having my underarms sugared by the Sugared Belle… and I will never shave my pits again!
Brianna was extremely nice and very professional. She answered all of my questions and made sure I was comfortable with the process. The office is very clean and decorated nicely, very calming almost. When I first called to make an appointment, I got voicemail. I didn’t leave a message, as I figured I would just call back later. But I didn’t have to, because within seconds of hanging up, Brianna called me back and we set an appointment.
The sugaring didn’t hurt has much as I thought it would. It’s similar to ripping off a large band-​aid. Stung for a moment, but that’s it. I can’t compare it to waxing, because I’ve never had anything waxed, but the 5 seconds of mild pain are WAY better than the hassle of shaving and dealing with razor burn and irritation.
I will definitely be back and may even look into sugaring for other areas of hair removal.

Wow why haven’t I discovered this method before?!
After being severely burned at ewc (red for 5 days and tons of bumps, irritation for days!) I was on a hunt to try something new.
I was about to go all the way down to long beach to go try this service, but I found ‘the sugared belle’ and decided to give it a try.
Made an apt the night before ONLINE (huge plus)
And went in the next morning.
Being horrified from my last experience I decided to freak myself out even more and watched videos of what I was going to put myself through. (hey, I like to be educated)
As soon as I walked inside Brianna put me to ease.
She educated and talked to me about the process and aftercare.
It wasn’t even that bad! The pulling off of the sugar was a bit to get used to. But totally bearable.
More pros:
you don’t have to grow out as much as waxing.
You stay softer for way longer
Any hair that comes back it softer, so the next time should be a breeze.
Less irritation
She offers a free retouch within 4 or 5 days.
Con :
It’s far! Lol the closest place to rancho!

Scheduled an appointment with Brianna to have a facial/​peel. She came highly recommended by one of my co-​workers. I’ve done this before at other salons but never really got the results that I thought I would. She explained the procedure, what she was going to do, and the aftercare (aftercare is very important). No one had ever told me about that before.
She would tell me each time what she was applying and what it was called and asking me how it felt. She was awesome, really professional, and knows her stuff. She even called me two days later to ask me how my skin was doing with the peel and if I needed any more of the aftercare products. (Which are fabulous by the way).
Seven days later and I LOVE my skin. If feels so soft and smooth and looks really clear! I’m afraid I’m hooked. Already scheduled a follow-​up and sugaring in three week.

I’ve gone to the same shop the last 7 years to get my eyebrows done. I decided I needed try someone new for a change. I have gotten sugared at the sugared belle before and I knew she also waxed brows. I called the shop and got an appt same day. I couldn’t be any happier with the results! All I can say is Brianna gave my brows shape to compliment my face. I don’t typically take time to write reviews but I was very impressed.

After reading all the reviews on Unilocal,I was pretty excited when Brianna was able to fit me in the same day. This is my first Brazilian anything so I was really nervous and wasn’t sure what to expect.
I arrived 15 mins early to the appointment and the door to the office was locked. Knocked a couple of times and no response. I finally called Brianna who told me that the door is a little heavy and that I would need to give it a little push. I explained that the door was locked and there was no way I could push the door. She told me to give her a minute and ended the call. Thinking that she was just finishing up with a client inside, I waited in the lobby. 10 mins go by, and a lady walks through the lobby to greet me. She apologizes for being late and unlocks the office door, which is dark and empty inside. I asked if she was Brianna, and she responds no, she’s Ingrid with no other explanation. So I am put off by the experience already! I made my appointment with Brianna this morning and suddenly there is Ingrid who will be doing my sugaring. Brianna also couldn’t have explained any of this to me when I was on the phone with her??? I was confused.
I proceeded with the sugaring anyways because I really wanted to get it done. Ingrid did do a nice job of explaining the process but that was the only good thing about my experience. About halfway through the sugaring, Ingrid kept yanking and jerking the sugar but it wouldn’t budge. Her first explanation was that it has been too hot lately for the sugar to cool. Then she proceeded to tell me this never happens. When she came back to that sugar part, same thing, a lot of painful yanking and pulling. The explanation was now that my body was too hot and when this happens, she always tells her clients it’s because they’re too hot. Okay, so she just told me that this never happens and now when it does happen, she has puns for them?
Finally, the sugaring is done. Ingrid hands me a warm moist towel to wipe off the excess sugar. She covers my lady parts then leaves the room. As I’m wiping myself clean, I examine myself and find blotches of hair sporadically over where I was sugared. I get dressed and head out to the lobby to let Ingrid know. The lobby was empty. About 5 mins later, Ingrid comes back with the iPad she needed to charge me for the appointment. I let her know about the lingering hairs and she hesitantly suggests we go back in the room so she can clean it up a bit. I strip down again, hop on the table and Ingrid is saying again, this never happens. So she goes to work again and when she is done, asks me if I would like to check. Really, you are the esthetician! Shouldn’t you be able to tell if you got the job done right or not? !!! At that point, I didn’t care if she had gotten everything or not. I just wanted this experience to be done. Ingrid hands me another warm towel and walks out of the room, with me fully exposed! Luckily there wasn’t anyone in the lobby, but what if there had been!!!
So I wiped myself clean and of couse there are still sporadic hairs. I got dressed quickly and went to pay. Scheduled a follow up appointment but will not be keeping that. For the price I paid, I would like to look for a more experienced place that knows the common courtesies for this type of business and not have so many «never happened before» experiences.

It’s always so fun to go to my sugaring! Brianna is one of the nicest, most genuine and meticulous, women I know. She is the best around!!! Perfect every time!!!

Briana is very easy going and good at her job. I’ve been to a few different «sugarist» and it’s MUCH less painful than old fashioned waxing! I’ll never go back to the old way!

Just finished my apt for any type of wax what so ever. and I was mega nervous… Briana is very professional and made me feel at ease very quickly… I ended up getting the Brazilian wax and I am not one who can take pain… and this was painless… Sugar wax is the way to go… it is pricier than regular waxing but definitely worth it…

Because I moved I decided that it was time to find a new place. I hopped on Unilocal and stumbled across The Sugared Belle and all of it’s amazing reviews. I am so glad that I tried this place out! I’ve been sugared before and never has it been so great! Brianna is not only kind and personable, she makes you feel at ease and answers any questions you have. I’ve already made my next appointment and will be spreading the word.

I literally just got done with my appointment with Brianna and I couldn’t be happier! WHY DOES ANYONE WAX ANYMORE?! Why am I just starting this now? This hurts way less than waxing.

2. This was my first time getting sugared and I was so nervous, but Brianna really made the whole situation comforting and not scary at all! She was really informative and easy to talk to. My session went by really fast because we were chatting the entire time.
3. She was also VERY thorough with her service and I see no stray hairs! (I got the full Brazilian sugar. I think it’s called «The Madamousile»… I probably spelled that wrong. Oh well!)
Overall, AMAZING service. I already scheduled my second appointment! Get sugared everyone! It’s so worth it.

This was my first time getting sugared here and I absolutely loved it! Very quick and accurate. I’m one of those picky people that usually start plucking away little hairs once I get home. There was no need for that! Great parking also. I found my new sugar spot :-)

I went to Brianna for a bare Brazilian wax. What already made my experience enjoyable was the fact that I got an appointment the same day I called to book one. Brianna will now be my go-​to for hair removal! Sugaring is much more painless than waxing… My life has definitely changed! Sugaring doesn’t leave your skin irritated after and no ingrown hairs… What more could you ask for? I felt like the entire process was much quicker than any waxing I’ve done before. Brianna is also very knowledgeable and really knows what she’s doing. I highly recommend going to her for any hair removal needs!

I tried sugaring here for the first time, after some persuasion by Brianna. I had previously tried chocolate waxing on my face, and it broke me out and dried my skin out so bad. I looked hideous and scary afterward, I do not recommend chocolate waxing to anyone with sensitive skin. Sugaring is perfect for those with sensitive skin. I personally think sugaring is less painful than threading, and it also leaves my skin feeling so soft afterward. I have converted to sugaring from threading, because of the positive experience I received here at The Sugared Belle. I’m a sugar-​er for life!
Brianna is also a brow pro! I have had my brows done before, and she is amazing! Eyebrow waxing is virtually painless, because her touch is so soft. I will definitely be back for ALL of my skin care needs!
