Sean is an incredible and extremely helpful asset to any gun owner in OC and Redfield Armory is by far the best FFL I’ve dealt with in Orange County. Sean and his partner work between 9a-​1pm and he’s always been extremely courteous, quick to respond, answers his phone as well as offers some great insight that has saved me both time and money when it comes to firearms transfers, both between dealers and private parties.
I would use Redfield Armory for all of my FFL needs — definitely a solid operation with excellent response and follow-​through. Thank you!

Best FFL out there. Professional, easy to work with. Actually not only used him for a lower purchase, but he was able to find some great deals on other parts for my build. Would definitely recommend him to friends (and have). Great job and keep it up Redfield!

Pricing is reasonable and answers my email quick so I’ll give a thumbs up for those but check this out… this is what happened to me today when I shipped my firearm to him few days ago while he was out town, he sent me an email saying his out town… ok…I got that, but he would not let me know when he’ll return so I can reschedule shipping. Today I found out he friggen REJECTED shipping without letting me know… ugh#/$^#/
Anyhow, I thought Sean was a bit arrogant and cocky for my taste… anyway, so if you don’t like a person with ego… I recommend go somewhere else… not worth it when your being treated like a crap.

That was about as painless as it gets. Sean was very responsive to my emails, answering all my FFL questions promptly. I DROS’ed a CMP rifle through Sean and it was probably the most streamlined gun transfer I have ever had. Just call him up, set an appointment and your in and out in a very short time. I now have a «go to» FFL i will be using frequently.

I think I’ve found my favorite FFL. Sean is very professional, respectful, efficient, and offers some of the best rates around town for online transfers of California approved/​DOJ rostered items. Bear in mind that this isn’t an LGS with a showroom, but a transfer service which is by appointment only. From my experience, cash or checks only. I will gladly perform another transfer through Redfield Armory again.

I’ve gotten 4 guns from Sean now. His prices are lower and haggle free. He answers emails promptly and is extremely nice and professional. If you know what you are looking for, I highly recommend you send him an email asking if he has it and the price. You won’t be disappointed. And since he works by appointment you can avoid the long lines at turner’s.

I recently made my first out of state online purchase of a rifle and was a bit worried about the whole transfer process. I called Sean and he explained the whole process thoroughly to me which helped put me at ease. Communication by email and phone was prompt. He was easy to speak to and was very respectful. As for fees, it was the lowest I was quoted compared to anywhere else in the area. As for the length of the process, it was quick and worry free. He tries his best to be available for pick up date after DROS is complete.

Used them for a transfer for my first firearm purchase. Sean was a very helpful and maintained constant communication throughout the process. The transfer fee was so much cheaper than other places. Not much else to say except that it was a painless and quick process. Would highly recommend.
