Olive Garden Italian Restaurant

I love the breadsticks, salads and fettuccine alfredo! Our server Nelson was very sweet and did tell me his favorite white wine– which I did order. The only thing was I wish I got more pasta like before.

I love this Olive Garden. Everyone is always friendly and their servers are on it!

I went with my parents to eat at this Olive Garden and let me tell you bad service all around ! The host sat us down and a female server ask us for our drink. Well that was the last we saw of her. We waited and waited for more than 30 minutes and no one came. server walked past us without a care. My father flagged down a male server name Dave saying that our server didn’t come back to get our order. He said «I’ll go find the server» well 15 min past by and still no server. Dave past by twice without even notifying us if he found our sever. As he past the third time laughing with another server, my father once more flagged him down and ask «where is my server» and he just rudely yell back «she is coming». This is ridiculous now we are getting yelled at for something that’s isn’t our fault. My father than asked for the manger and all rushed told us he was going to get us a server and tried to buy us for a free appetizer and didn’t even apologize. This was a very bad experience ! Save your time and money.

I am in love with Olive Garden! Definitely one of my favorite restaurants. Great appetizers, amazing chicken scampi and chicken Alfredo. My boyfriend and I always Celebrate our anniversary here, because he always let’s me pick the restaurant and I always pick olive garden! Mmmm can’t wait to go back! This location has awesome management too.

Where do I start… so this place doesn’t take reservations which is not a big deal, but you would think that by waiting 40 – 45 minutes to be seated you would get excellent service right? Well not here! First off, we get seated (table of 5, 4 adults, 1 child) and we just sit there and wait and wait… no service. Next table over? They get seated about ten minutes after us and get their order taken right away. They didn’t even bring us water!
Whatever, we gave them the benefit of the doubt and just assumed they were a little disorganized. Wrong!!! One mistake after another. They forgot our drinks, food, napkins… pretty much everything.
Out of all places, my son wanted to come here for his birthday and I made it known to them right away. We saw that there were 2 other birthdays in the same section. Well they sang happy birthday to both of them and brought them a little something but for my 10 year old… nothing.
Hopefully he picks a better place next year!

The food was good, but our server, Alex, was not as good! She asked if we were ready to order as soon as we sat down. We said we could order drinks but needed time to look at the menu and she then disappeared for 20 min and another server had to come take our order. Then at the end we paid using gift cards we had on their table kiosk and she snatched the kiosk from us to take the costumer survey about herself and rate herself highly.

Had a girls lunch here today. Service was horrible!!! We were celebrating my friends engagement and she ordered champagne for us both. Our server came back after about 10 minutes and said «they’re getting it from the back». Another 10 minutes and he says «we don’t have any»! Not having it is fine, but tell us. Then we both order our lunch and he tells me that they are substituting for one of the items I order, gives me two choices, fine. Brings salad and bread. Another 20 minutes later he says «your order is next». We were in a hurry, to make an appointment and asked for boxes, which he quickly brought. I didn’t think I had to inspect my food to see that I got the the right items. I ordered a combo three items. Boxed it up, just opened it for dinner, my chicken parmigiana is lasagna! Don’t go there without a lot of patience.

The food here is very delicious. I love to eat chicken pasta. Everything is fresh. Will come here next time

Great meal last nite. We had the Best Waitress her name was Breezy! Always so Cheerful & very Friendly. We always ask for her. She’s worth waiting for. Very Good service.

When we got there, we expected it to be busy. It was a Saturday night, which you know it WILL be busy no matter what. We were told at first that it was only going to be a 30 minute wait, which was definitely perfect, we were expecting more when we asked.
We waited in line to place my name on the waiting list, and a different hostess told us it would be 45 minutes to an hour wait! How could this be, when we were literally told 5 minutes prior to that, that it was only a 30 minute wait.
The time it would have taken us to go to a different place to eat, we were thinking of having phó, but our place was just about 35 minutes away from Brea. We decided to just stick around and wait, since we already made the drive out to this specific location from Whittier, which the Whittier Olive Garden is just around the corner from my house. (Biggest mistake I will never make again)
When we finally got called back to our table, we had already made our decision on what to eat, since we waited for so long, we had the time to make this happen. Our server asked for our drinks right away, no more than 3 minutes transpired from sitting down to beginning to be served, he took our order, and we said that we were ready to order our meals. He walked away without acknowledging our request.
When he came back with our drinks, 10 minutes later… He took our order, I ordered the unlimited soup, and my brother in law ordered the spaghetti with chicken meat balls. Keep this in mind…
We received our orders, the server placed a salad on the table, saying that it was with my soup, I figured cool, free salad, maybe for the long wait??? Maybe an over order from another table??? Who knows, but I figured it was free. My brother in law received his spaghetti with one, not two, like the menu said, but one chicken meat ball. He then asked the server where the other meat ball was, the server said it was the last chicken meat ball in the building, that they had ran out. He then said, the server, it’s unfortunate, because I wanted to eat that one too. I understand he was trying to joke around, but it was not funny since we were already having terrible service. The server then stated that he was going to talk to the manager for us and try to maybe get 2 Meat balls of normal ground beef delivered to our table at no extra cost. He came back later, and I mean 10 minutes later, where my brother in law was more than half way done with his meal, with ONE meat ball. (Which was charged on the bill in the end)
Not cool
So the bill came… My soup should have only been 6 or 7 bucks, nope, it was 12 bucks because he charged us for the salad I didn’t order. The bill was a complete mess, we had the manager come over and she only «Explained» the bill to us, and I quote that because she was not eager to try and help us out in any way possible. So my brother in law paid for an extra order of meat balls he received late, and I was charged for a salad I never ordered, nor did I even eat!
This place will NEVER receive my business again. I will just stick to the Whittier location from now on. At least there, I know the service will be a 4 or 5 star.

Well lastnight @ Breamall location, it was family get together. Told us a 30 min wait, so decided to sit @ tables n bar. Noticing spilled salad on floor next to us, notified our useless waiter. Over and over keep telling him safety Hazzard, someone could slip & fall w/​this on floor finally after 40 min he comes over w/​tinny broom, & pushes it around corner, & leaves it, not getting it up off the floor. Coffee was lukewarm, same w/​food. Staff all walking around texting on their cellphones. Ya know for $ 18 meal I would have been better off going 3 blocks to Mc’ Donalds, feeding whole family for lot less & had better service. …

Oh man… well I did not have the best experience at this Olive Garden. The service was decent enough, however the food was not up to the quality I would hope for or expect.
Our group mostly ordered the soup and salad. The salad was fine. We had lots of different experiences with the soups. My soup… literally had a whole potato in it. Not very appetizing. The other bowl of it I got had no potatoes at all.
Other people at my table had the gnocchi soup, and did not have any gnocchis in it. They had to ask for them, and the waitress actually said «The soup today just doesn’t really have any in it.»… um… I really just don’t know why that would be okay.
I was pretty disappointed just in the low quality of the food and the mediocre service. I have eaten at Olive Gardens before that were great, but this one did not meet the standard.

Me and my girlfriend just left Buca di Beppo and I can’t help but be amazed with the customer service. Our server Tasha was friendly and patient with us. However the photographer for tonight definitely made the experience something different but in a good way, I believe his name was Kenneth ! The host was also very personable ! Five stars
For an amazing dinner !

Love love love this place! Came here couple times and I always had a great experience. This particular time I came was very delightful because the server I had was just so kind and friendly. She was just so outgoing and hardworking. She managed to check up on me and my boyfriend several times. I didn’t even have to call her over to ask for anything.
I got a plate that had steak and pasta on it and it was so delicious. I asked for the steak to be medium rare and it came out perfectly. Their pasta was very creamy and savory. My boyfriend got shrimp Alfredo pasta and it was very good as well. Their soups are always the best and their BREADSTICKS! Come to Olive Garden for this! It’s so good!
I would love to come back anytime!

Disappointing is not a strong enough word. Our server was nice and attentive but the food horrible.
1. ordered Italian margaritas, they were all mix and super sweet
2. ordered water tasted like dirt could tell it was unfiltered tap water so we had to order a bottle of water
3. ordered meat sauce with my ravioli, got marinara, kitchen screw up because it said meat sauce on our receipt
4. our server kept coming to our table saying that the bread sticks are «in the oven» or «I just missed them and I’m waiting for the next batch»
5. the table behind us, the server kept coming over telling them their food was on it’s way and the kitchen was backed up. we ordered at the same time when we left they were just getting their food.
i use to love coming here, Now it’s unorganized and truly disappointing. They don’t have the same standards as before. It’s sad, but we wont be coming back here, or to ANY Olive Garden.

Bad service. The front desk group of 4 – 5 women with only one greeting while others just stare at you

The food is typical Olive Garden, which is to say, convenient Italian food. It caters to a very liberal American palate and does not have the same flavor as an authentic, «mom and pop» café. That being said, its convenience is what makes OG so popular. My 5 year old and 2 year old love the spaghetti and chicken gnocchi soup. I don’t think my daughter would have tried gnocchi if it wasn’t for OG.
As for wait staff, they are, for the most part, very cordial and even engaging. The hostess was rather ambivalent, but it was late so she was probably checked out for the evening. The men’s room was just awful. The waterless urinals smelled and there was urine all over the floor. The last urinal was full of urine and didn’t drain, adding to the overall outhouse feel. If restaurants are judged by the cleanliness of their bathrooms, then this one just failed miserably…

Almost everything did go wrong.
Here is a short list of reasons why I will never be coming back:
1)Slow service (yes I understand our server was new)
2)Appetizer was never brought out to our table that we ordered
3)Two of the four entrees were dropped on the way to our table by the server
4)No cheese was offered for our meals
5)Our server never checked up on us
6)We were charged for the two additional meals that had to be put in to replace the ones our server dropped
7)The food was horrendous! Not to mention the GI upset I experienced once I got home
I get it… its the olive garden. We aren’t talking five star dining, but at the very least I would hope that it would slightly enjoyable.

Came Back to Give Olive Garden A Chance for Redemption, Thankfully a Great Experience!
We came in early on a Saturday before the dinner rush. Ordered the following:
Fettuccine Alfredo — $ 13.99
Appetizer Sampler — $ 12.79
Cucina Mia — $ 11.99
White Chocolate Raspberry Cheesecake — $ 6.99
Strawberry Passionfruit Limonata — $ 3.50
The Appetizer Sampler was three choices — Calamari, Fried Mozzarella, and Stuffed Mushrooms. My favorite had to be the very crispy calamari! The Fettucine Alfredo was pretty good as well — added extra shrimp and mushrooms on the side — may need to ask for extra sauce for the next time. The White Chocolate Raspberry Cheesecake was very creamy!
The staff was very welcoming, and our server Ashton was wonderful! He was very attentive and the exemplary customer service made the time at the restaurant very enjoyable.

Ya’ know… it’s always lovely when an establishment provides absolutely subpar service only to locate their Unilocal review indicating such afterwards and to SAVE FACE, they follow up with a generic prescripted «comment» that serves no actual purpose.
This experience ^ is all the more blissful when they proceed in providing an email address within their comment to said review all the while alleging how they’d like to be given a «second chance», thereon ignoring any such emails thereafter,…rendering their request for correspondence completely obsolete.
